It's the experience though. When you buy tickets for the world best entertainment complex you should expect to pay the highest prices.
You're not really paying to watch your team. You're paying for the experience.

LeParisien LeParisien 💪
You have encapsulated it perfectly, it's an experience a day out, winning is secondary.
Must be the "mission statement" in the boardroom.

look, im gonna come clean.

My biggest issue with you Levy outers is that you are giving him such a bad name that I get questioned why I have his name on the back of my Spurs shirt.

My Mrs bought me a shirt for my 40th with my surname on the back (I share the same one as Daniel) and bless her, she didnt understand why she should have maybe got my nickname on it instead.

I can't go play squash without someone asking me 'Why have you got the chairman's name on the back of your shirt?'

Scrub the Y out and replace with i

If it makes you feel any better, I once had a shirt with “****bell 23” on it.

I had to dispose of that one pretty quickly.

Did he invest in a squad that’s good enough to win the league?

When Poch had one that was almost good enough did get Dybala over the line in the January window?

Has he ever treated the squad the same way he treats property investments?

Title or trophies?

We absolutely, without question have had a good enough squad to win a trophy. Our squad was in my opinion better than the one that Lecister won the title with too....

Few things from COYS from Prof and Dragon 1 regarding the takeover talks - taken with a chuckle and lashings of 🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂

Dragon on coys

My understanding is currently is joe and liberty are on the same page re deal structure

what they are far apart on is the price for the percent age is the club that they are talking over
but the interest is real , as well as the F1 thing they own live nation the biggest concert operator in the states if sold the stadium will be used way way more , the deal makes sense on many levels

re Daniel blocking / stopping deals I can tell you in one instance a buyer found Daniel to be rude and arrogant , joe phoned the buyer and flew them out to The Bahamas to negotiate , Daniel has zero ability to stop a deal if joe likes it

Prof on COYS (site owner /Admin) PS The Gs are two ITKs he is referring to

I can’t tell whether the lack of interest from Spurs fans in the Liberty Media negotiations is because they don’t believe it’s a real possibility or because they don’t care.
Two of the Gs believe it’s got legs - far from a done deal, but (as dragon1 said) the outlines of how it would happen are in place. They believe it’s all about whether Liberty are willing to close the valuation gap for the 50%+ of the business that Liberty want.

and D1 in response (opinion, mixed with info)

The lack of interest is because our fan base want a Roman or mansour to ride in on a white horse and liberty are really another Enic but with two differences

1 - they will spend there own money on players , whilst Enic have spent with the exception of making the 150 million line of credit available recently which has barely been used Enic have only ever spent generated revenue on player investment ,liberty will be way more aggressive in the market place

2 - liberty will raise large amounts of debt for the buy out like the glazers did for United , Enic bought us for 40 million and apart from the stadium loan for the majority of their tenure we have been run debt free

what stuns me is that our fan base do not realize that Enic have accumulated enough land to build the largest housing redevelopment since the dock lands , we are 15 mins from islington and under 30 mins to the city , the 3 billion they are asking for the football club is chump change compared to the real estate potential worth

I don't know that much about Liberty Media, but if they approach owning a football team the way they have with the Atlanta Braves I think Spurs fans would be pleased. One of the smartest and most forward looking organizations in baseball and focused on getting and keeping the best young talent available to sustain winning. What I don't entirely understand is how owning a football team (and I get the impression they are looking at more than one) fits into the company's vision for sports media. My guess is Liberty would be a smarter version of ENIC. They would have a business focus, but also a commitment to winning. They wouldn't be the biggest spenders in the league, but they would intend to invest in sustained excellence.

didn't even need to throw the bag at dybala. could've had grealish in if he didn't stall the deal and stop being a greedy cunt. a season or two later he gives up more money to buy Sessegnon. not only is he a cheap cunt at the wrong moments, he throws away money at players like ndombele because he's a muppet.

I get that. Just pointing out there is a difference - they expect their owners to spend some of the paper value gains accumulated from their intirial investment of £300M. Loads of our fans are accepting that ENIC don’t need to do this, yet their initial investment was 10% of the Liverpool buy price
Some if our fans find it acceptable that ENIC and Levy has in increased the value of their investment of under 100 Million for their 86% shares, by more than 50 times, but the players on the field hasn't improved much over the past 20 years. They quite happy to enjoy the sight of the Exquisite Buildings that have popped up due to the staggering increase in price of anything Spurs related (known to be one of the highest of any team in the league). Daniel has got them wrapped around his finger. Real Estate at the expense of Football,

Read from a Spurs Fan on another Group. "We have tried with glamorous win now coaches...." What a load of BullCrap. Levy and Co did not do half for Jose and Conté, of what is being done for Ange. Jose and Conté tried to get deadwood sold and Levy didn't want to budge. Both wanted to get ride of Sanchez at a time when he could've gone for 20 Million and Levy didn't want to. Jose wanted Kim at 15 Million and he was saddled with Rodon. Jose and Conté wanted Davies, LoCelso, Winks... etc sold and the thought was not entertained. If you make a statement, be factual don't tell half truths. Much as I didn't start off liking Jose and Conté football, I grew to appreciate their tactical genius. They made miracles with what they had. One can only polish a Turd that much. They weren't given a chance. Levy knows Ange is his Last resort. He knows his neck is on the line. He knows he has give a bit more because Fans are finished with his Bullshit. I patiently await his CB purchases, to see if he has really converted Levy and Co.if6 But I agree. Give Ange a Break, like Jose and Conté, ha has a lot to do.

Isn’t it up to the council how many events are held at the stadium ?
