We have an old family friend who's a Villa ST holder we meet for Sunday lunch 4 or 5 times a year.

Every single time he brings up Levy and £3m + Josh Onamah for Jack Grealish followed by a round of raucous laughter. Of course, we just sit their wriggling around and smiling as another football fan enjoys a joke at our expense.

We really have become the undisputed laughing stock of English football under these c***s

Some of our fans revel in it 🤷‍♀️

OK, apart from the bit about Levy having a last resort and his neck being on the line...this would be true if he had a soul....

Also the idea of Mourinho and Conte growing on anyone...
 


Think this is a decent take that both “sides” can agree with.

Unless you are in denial, you know Levy is going to operate like an upper mid table club but there isn’t anything anyone can do about it. He’s not going to change.

an upper midtable club competes in the CL for 5 out of the past 7 seasons? Does that seem right to you?

Or are you saying that a club can be RUN like that but still achieve CL that often?

And that is the problem.
There are Spurs fans who desperately want to get out of this shitty model and there's ENIC fans who, for some inexplicable reason, would rather we were utterly mediocre all the time because they're scared of what might be.

Probably be single their whole lives because they're scared of what a girl might say.

Ok - so we’re agreed there’s a class of club above us and that there are five of them in England. In that case let me give you a very straightforward answer: yes a big club can go that long without winning a trophy. The 6th biggest club in many countries go a long time without winning.

You’re still refusing to give a straight answer to my straight question. Denial?

From my perspective we were lowest net spenders for almost 20 years and won nothing with the promise of this great 'game changer', now we're there with the great 'game changer' I see is us not qualifying for CL five out of the next 7 seasons...

They are super successful off the pitch, super unsuccessful on it, that is by design as making money is their priority, fans have and will continue to be taken for a ride, the great game changer is simply how much money they can make and they have now turned there attention to FFP as the great 'game changer' meaning their hope lies in others being restricted to spend rather than them having any intention of now going for it...
