I’ve no idea who is paying for it. I’d imagine he’s not paying himself, but have no idea.

I’ve no clue which decisions Levy has made in the club in the past as I’m not party to the daily operations. So his stepping back may or may not be a good thing. Even if it would be a good thing, I’m not sure how we’ve come to the conclusion that him being in attendance means he’s arsehole deep in things.
The only other logical reason for him being there is business related which surely he could achieve from London?

I mean, I don't think any chairman of any football club should be anywhere near a training session personally, that's just my opinion though.

Didn't Levy also go to South Korea last year? I have a vague memory of a video with him arriving at the airport and walking side by side with Conte. Then shaking hands with Son who was waiting there.....

I don't know why he goes on pre season tours

ONE poster dared to criticise the Leader?!

Jim Carrey Omg GIF
Aye, only one. Maybe more, but I wasn’t arsed enough to try to find more. So hardly a deluge of criticism. That’s why I posted I could only find one.

Maybe he is meeting potential sponsors face to face? Attending a supporters event? Discussing contract renewals with players? Discussing potential transfer targets with Ange? All achievable via Zoom, but much better face to face.

Or he could just be on his holidays. Fucked if I know.

We don’t have to sell Kane.

I agree but it seems like Levy has changed his tune. Either Kane signs a deal now or he is sold. Levy doesn’t seem to be willing to lose him on a free anymore.

Honestly I think he will be sold. Levy has offered him a huge contract then immediately had a meeting with Bayern. When they put the money on the table he will say he did everything he could but we have to take the money.

Earlier this summer I thought that maybe Levy was strong enough to keep Kane and risk losing him for nothing, but the fact that he took the meeting with Bayern tells me he isn’t.

Anything business related could have been conducted from London surely? Unless he is there to specifically meet someone?

He’s there watching Harry Kane like a hawk. It’s obvious. He trusts Ange. Trusts Harry and his brother as far as he can throw them.

Not even once bitten. Three times bitten now.

Can’t let Harry out of his sight now. Anybody even remotely German or French turns up sure I’m Danny is giving them a slap.

You only found one poster but still deemed it worthy to mention?

Just a bit weird to me, the effort you lot go to I to order to defend a man who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

Actually he probably would but then days later he'd send you a bill for services rendered.

Agree but Kane has to agree. If I was him, I would stay and go for free to City and pocket a huge wage

I replied to another poster who asked for evidence. Was just helping the guy out. I posted to show it wasn’t a widely held opinion.

Fuck sake man, pick on something worthwhile arguing about and I’ll spend all day on here banging back and forth, but give me grief for responding to another poster to answer his question and I’ve no appetite for that.

Find another battle to wage.

All possible but again, like you said, could be achieved from distance, not a requirement for him to be there.

Also, not sure why he would be on the training pitch to do that? Surely that could be done behind closed doors?

I honestly think too much is being read into this. But not trying to change your mind. Not trying to defend or criticise Levy either. Because I’ve no fucking clue why he is there. I can only assume that he has a reason as he doesn’t strike me as a stupid man.

What is it to do with then?

And why is he present on the training pitch with the players? What purpose does he serve there?

When people asked him to step back from the day to day running of the football club they mean him being the DOF, negotiating transfers, recruitment, strategy, scouting etc..

No-one had being out on tour as part of football operations on their bingo card, what an incredible reach. 😆

Ange has taken his car to the garage because the breaks are totally screwed , the tiny bald mechanic has changed his windscreen wipers and sent him on his way .

This is the reality of our centre back negligence

Can’t be arsed looking (as I think it’s all a bit of a non event) but is the West Ham chairman/Brady out there?
Is it really abnormal for the chairman to enjoy a freebie on the club tour? Until now it’s sailed over my head whether the chairman or the tea lady go out on tour with the squad.
I guess the tea lady would have more use, but hey ho.

People want Levy to be as far away from the football operations yet want him at home to negotiate deals which involves himself working on the football side - literally the thing that they're opposing, the irony of that is pretty funny.

It's not even Monday lunch time and we've reached the point of hysterics already.
