ENIC In or ENIC Out

People only think we're cursed or some BS because those people judge us by the same standards as the top 6 despite not having anywhere near the same kind of rich histories or money as them so it seems like we are continually failing our own metrics as a club when the reality is very different. A lot of it is noise from social media to make it seem like we are constant failures however 87 out of the entire 92 teams in the English football pyramid would do their absolute best and swap places with us.
Exactly, whilst I get frustrated with the some of the media agenda against the club e.g the lack of recent trophies, but the reality of things is there are ALOT of other other clubs who do not win trophies either. Where is the mention of Villa, Everton, Newcastle etc not winning a trophy?

ENIC are a victim of their own relative success to a certain extent. The nonsense about not showing ambition is hilarious. What classes as ambition? Trophies, yes but we've also progressed in other ways which shows ambition as a club.

We had a bad season last season which clearly didn't work out but we finished 4th the season before. I read a post on here the other day which said 'we were not competing with the best'. Well it was only last season we were playing in the Champions League.

This attitude from fans is entitled and it's got worse recently. Mainly fuelled, like you say from idiots on social media.

I'll be real a lot of
Cat Working GIF
is from those who are tired of getting bantered by rival fans and the media and it's magnified now because we virtually live on social media, so much faux outrage these days.

If trophies were the height of ambition then these same people would have been ecstatic in 2008 when we won a Cup and finished 11th, no? :gallashmm:

We got knocked out by the first CL quality opponent we faced (our group was the easiest group in the history of the competition and we made hard work of it somehow) and that season was wedged between two shit ones prior to it and one shit one after it.

Making the CL once and getting knocked out in the first knockout round by A.C Milan isn't competing with the best.

It has now been 3 months to the day that our director of football was banned from the sport, and Tottenham Hotspur FC LTD has still not released any statement on his position at the club, nor their plans to replace him, nor any clarity on who is running the recruitment wing of the club.

Criminal negligence. This would be like if your CFO went down for fraud and when shareholders asked who’d be in charge of the finances, the CEO just kind of shrugged and pointed to the accounting department.

There is zero defense for this. Zero.

Do you think Woolwich or Chelsea fans are more entitled to expect more from their owners than Spurs fans and if so, why?

Oh right, so when players get interviewed they say

"we want to play against the best teams in the Champions League, but it depends who we get drawn against"

We played in the Champions League, our group consisted of Frankfurt (Europa League winners), Sporting, who incidentally knocked Woolwich out of the Europa League but yeah we should have got through with flying colours.

Spurs have had 4 shit seasons, back to back, playing shit football, under 5 different managers, and scraped one Champions League qualification, by finishing 4th.

ENIC are no longer capable of making Spurs the 'best of the rest'.

Levy has reached the point that Sugar reached when he appointed George Graham.

We need to stop indulging the prick and help him on his way.

It's good to know where the moral boundaries lie isn't it? I mean I'm sure you wouldn't want a murderer/rapist/pedo taking over the club, or would you?
Don't know why you brought a paedo or rapist into the discussion.

So if Levy/Lewis' trust sold our club to a lot like those who own Newcastle etc, how would you react?
Would you find a different team to support or what?

Yeah congratulations, you've described a Europa League group.

Our players faced one team who are genuinely CL quality and went out. If you want to call that 'competing' on any meaningful level go ahead, but you're fooling yourself. We had zero impact on the CL.

Qualified, went out at the first real hurdle, finished outside European places entirely.

I'm still wanting to know if the guy who brought Gary Glitter into the debate to fight his corner would welcome any further Middle Eastern investment secured by Daniel Levy and how disgusted he was by his recent appearance at the Bahrain GP?

:sonhmm:
