best not fuck up the stadium then

For all of Enic's failings, I don't believe this is a fair comparison and I can't use it as another stick to beat them with.

Manchester United's commercial outreach and shirt sales are much more than ours and our deal with Nike was struck a few years ago.

As for the naming rights, as much as I don't like the name "The Tottenham Hotspur" stadium, I would rather that than "X" corporation stadium and I think it's quite a clever bit of marketing in regards to our brand around the world.

And let us be honest, even if we did have naming rights we still wouldn't spend the bloody money on some centre-backs!

The news that Levy is insisting on a buyback clause from Bayern for Kane is one of the most laughable things I've read in a long time.

This bald cockbreath of a man made bad decision after bad decision which has resulted in our best player deciding that he would rather throw away his chance of becoming the greatest ever Premier league goalscorer, such is his determination to leave and Levy is so delusional to think he would actually come back?

please fuck off Levy.

Is it to prevent him going to Chelsea or to get ENIC more money should Kane take that route?

I think they want to compete at the top. But the. MO became get the biggest and bestest manager and “do a poch”. Get more than the sum of its parts from the squad.
Probably the same with Ange reading all the hype around him.

We want to be elite - CL football. The European Super League.
We don’t want to be mid table is my own take.

Mid table - how often have we finished closer to 10th than 3rd in the last 15 years. It’s got to be closer to 3rd surely?
If over the next 5 years we are closer to 10th and we don’t sack Ange I will agree with your argument.

Tickets are now purely supply and demand. International fans happy to pay the money. Happy to pay a lot more money too as they travel for a once in a lifetime experience.

The normal fan is forgotten about. ENIC don’t care - a small amount of concessions pricing the biggest indicator they just want to maximise ticket £sales

And our own aging match attending fanbase are able to pay higher ticket prices as they have more disposable income.

As harsh as it sounds if you’ve got plenty of money you can watch Spurs. I think our fanbase is quite well off.

If you’ve got less than the average UK wage and you have average mortgage, food bills and car payments you probably can’t.

They view you as a client reference number. Nothing more nothing less than a walking £sign.
I respect your view, but for me they, are not interested in the football side of success.
ENIC for me, see us as just another asset that, they know they can squeeze so much money out of.
How can a club with our resources, be waiting around to sell our best player, before we can support the manager.
It's because they don't want to, for Levy a win isn't on the pitch, but instead getting driving the price down or up depending on buying or selling that's there high five.

Well I don’t think they want to win in the same way that City and Chelsea do. And United and Liverpool have a huge weight of expectation on them which we just don’t.
I think even Woolwich expect to win something.

They just want to sit at the top table.

And we sell out our stadium having won next to nothing in 25+ years.
As a fanbase we are pretty much used to it being the status quo.

They almost don’t need to win anything. The fans will keep coming.

That Gold tweet made me think though...
It's kind of funny, we're in our wee bubble and this whole Levy issue appears like the life and death of the club is in the balance...

On the other hand the vast majority of fans are not on Twitter or in here and either don't care or know nothing about it...other than the odd Levy out chorus in the stands...

It is quite telling that we are owned in large part by a Bahamian Trust run by two lawyers. Goes to what Lewis and Levy are all about.

It is a travesty really. Don't expect any ambition.
