True, but I similarly don't hear people comment on how we managed to keep many of our best players at Spurs for the best parts of their careers by becoming a team that WAS challenging for things and by also increasing our wages significantly at a time where we may have lost players like Kane, Eriksen, Jan, Toby etc.

A good keeper, highly praised in Italy that Inter wanted as a replacement for Onana.
A young, PL proven winger who looks very promising in the friendlies.
The 2nd best attacking midfielder in the PL for the last two years.

Keeper wasn't first choice. Solomon has played about half a season of Premier league football I don't see how that's Premier league proven. Maddison was a good signing that he was only able to get because Leicester were bang in trouble. Levy being levy nothing major has happened no major change Still left the most glaring issues of the squad at centre back neglected with under two weeks to go until the end of the season. And on top of all of that we have the kane situation that he himself has created. I gurantee we finish closer to the bottom half than top 4 and dodge trophies again next season.
Inflation helped as well.
Club is a horse that's too big for Levy to ride now.
If he doesn't let go soon, he's going to damage what legacy he has left from the stadium build.

And yet we're on here because moaning about Levy and ENIC was deemed OFF TOPIC on the transfer thread.
This is what the Levy fanclub wanted, reduce criticism of the owners to one thread even though they control pretty much EVERYTHING to do with our club so in reality, no Spurs-related thread is OFF TOPIC.
So here we are and yet you persist in telling us how wrong we are or how we obviously don't care that much because we're not protesting against the ownership 24/7 and now trying to make out that this window is a positive one.
As per usual we've done the bar minimum, nothing worth getting excited about.
