They raise ticket prices. 98% of fans will keep on paying them. (And it’s still cheaper to buy a match ticket than fill my car up to a full tank inflation and all that jazz.)
Plenty of people from all around the world will have no trouble paying these ticket prices either. Global fanbase now. Supply and demand dictates our league games.
I expect EL prices to be a lot cheaper as a silver lining to this cloud.

But it is season after season of of careful spending, punting on emerging talent and a series of coaches who leave me gobsmacked sometimes.
Edit - and when we do go for a coach with some pedigree, we make them fight with at least one arm tied behind their back.
