Managers.. don’t .. sign players.. ffs. Ange agreeing to sign Johnson doesn’t place the burden on him because he’s tuned out how many of us who’d seen him play at forest expected .

It is 1000% a club problem that our scouts identified someone for a position and then signed him for 50 million only to bid close to the same for another player in the exact same position a year later.

Ange has been clear as can be that after last season he wants reinforcements in the attack, just because he doesn’t go the Conte or jose route of complaining doesn’t mean he wouldn’t of preferred more than just Solanke to come into his starting 11.

This thread has been bumped because many of us said this window hasn’t been anywhere near good enough and we needed to do more to address the issues in the front 3 and last night was a clear example of that..

You still can’t answer if you’re happy with just the 1 first team signing or not

Okay sorry I didn't think you'd take something so literal , obviously Ange didn't sign Johnson but he wanted Johnson, as much as you bury your head in the sand, he wanted him...been backed up by so many legit sources and yet you're still denying reality.

Laughable if you think it's a club problem and even more laughable that the narrative shifts around Levy all the time - buying 3 players who play in the same position and spending over £140m on them in the space of 2 years is most definitely not an ENIC thing, you can't have it both ways - look at the evidence in front of you mate.

RE; Solanke...you should use some critical thinking...Solanke directly fits the way the manager plays, he's literally a perfect fit of how he wants his striker, high energy/good between both posts/hold up play etc...So he would have ranked pretty high in what the manager wanted regardless of who else was on the market.

This thread was bumped because we drew last night, if it was bumped because of your hilarious claims about our window then it would have been far more active during the Summer, it's just a symptom of fans on here looking for an outlet for their frustrations every time we lose a fucking match, time and time again after we lose...just a load of over emotional bitches in here smashing their keyboards in the direction of the board yet those same fans do fuck all about it.

And I haven't answered your question because it's stupid no offence, I was happy at the 2019 window and look how that turned out, how am I gonna be happy until I know how the transfers end up? What I did want is profile fits for the manager, we've signed 4 players who fit the profile of the manager so it's up to him to get the best out of them.

I've said many times I've accepted their position, they aren't leaving anytime soon, I don't cry and get over emotional at the board especially after a fucking football match which they have 0 control over
Yet you bawl your eyes out over other people justifiably criticising their 25 year record. If we lose a game, you're all over this thread trying to put out fires like a man possessed.
You must be able to see why others find your behaviour, well, let's just say strange

Well guess what...I wouldn't have anything to 'bawl my eyes out' if there's no overly hysterical posts in the first place would I :porrohands:

We are just making up the numbers under Levy and we can't just blame the Arab money, gooners are competing and Liverpool have won everything. We are badly run in the football sense, Levy doesn't have a clue.

This could be Shadydan , leparisien , the fixx or the goat , these guys will defend levy anywhere , anywhere at all

But the trouble is, he can point to spending lots of money and use that to say he’s backed the manager. From what we have been told via the media, he wanted Eze, Neto, Gallagher and solanke. Yet only gets one of them. As per usual whoever is in charge doesn’t get exactly what he’s after. You can’t sign lots of players the manager wants every year in case they are sacked but those three improve any team in the league.

eg. Gallagher. You can’t tell me that if we paid the transfer fee the chavs wanted and offered him £200k a week that he wouldn’t suddenly forget his allegiances to that club. He wouldn’t, he would join us. Same with Neto. Not that I was desperate for either but if you pay the money they come.
Exactly that. He just won’t go for the top players the manager wants so it’s the next best. & he bulks at paying them a high wage to get the deal over the line. So you end up with your star signing being a Bournemouth player who can’t get in his national team.
Also teams are spending a bit less now & being a bit more careful, so you can’t say well we couldn’t compete with city, Woolwich, United etc for the top players. They outbid us. There are plenty of good players with no teams really pushing the boat out for who would improve us.
We end up signing a level or 2 below what the manager wanted, then act surprised when we win nothing as per usual. It’s getting a bit silly now.
Also a lot of managers success is dependent on them getting key players in key areas . So if we fail them with that, then of course it won’t work. Like conte with shit defenders & wing backs.
We also seem to do things like spend 115m on solanke & Johnson (7-8 out of 10 players) when it would be better spending all that on a single 9 out of 10 player.
Yeah, there are some top players you know any new manager would want so it’s not a big risk in that sense.

Most expensive shirt in the league

You’ll never sing that
Too slow. Already posted in the new kit thread mate… :sonpoint:

Well duh, of course they're a problem but we can't do nothing about that can we. 😆

Well actually we can actually bother to get up of our asses and protest but that's inconvenient for a lot of fans and would rather go the keyboard warrior route and cry online it seems.

So you set your expectation with this club accordingly, ENIC aren't leaving no matter how much we scream and shout, so the next best thing is to support (or at least try) what they have setup and put in place and by that account they have put a fairly solid structure in place to finish around the CL places, we shouldn't be losing to Leicester and playing poorly and if we are then that's down to the management so I have no idea why this thread is active.

That's for Goaty!

I'm not stopping you from posting anything am I, weird response...christ 😆

If you or anyone else have clocked me as a Levy fan boy despite me saying that ENIC are the problem and acknowledging that they need to increase the wage bill literally a few posts ago then I suggest you brush up on your reading comprehension skills.

Who's crying?

You get paid by the hour or the word or you just do this shit for free?

Levy just loves a deal. I think that’s part of the problem. I agree with everything you say and the fact he hasn’t learnt anything to do with players over the last twenty years and goes about things the same way is a huge problem and contributes to why we never quite get there.
