Are people seriously saying people can’t moan about our Water companies borrowing money , paying dividends and excessive bonuses , then upping our bills to pay for it unless we chain ourselves to a sewage plant

Some of us would like Levy gone , we are fully entitled to say that whilst being to apathetic to protest

EDIT : Final thoughts look at the low turnouts at elections and local elections . Pretty sure most of those who don’t vote are not blissfully happy and are moaning about a multitude of issues on a daily or weekly basis.

Saying Levy out is way too trivial an issue to engage in any form of protest . It will take a lot more than ENIC pissing me off to get me on the streets

You know why most people don't join JSO? Because they come across as self-entitled pricks who's actions and words don't actually reflect the more nuanced feelings of the masses.

They come across like little babies having tantrums by lying down in the road and crying rather than coming to the table with practical, real-world solutions to a very real problem.

The thing about it is, and I don't know if you have a partner or a friend that likes to complain about things.... but after the 15th time, it kinda gets a bit boring and stops lacking any substance because all they do is complain about it and don't actually do anything. YOu kinda stop feeling sorry for them and just get frustrated that they are ruining your experience of hanging out or going to the pub or doing anything by just complaining and complaining and complaining about something that they are doing nothing to change.

I don't agree 1/ because a protest outside the stadium will have no impact and 2/ Levy is not really that important a factor in most fans' lives. As for shouting at the clouds - I sometimes do! But a forum is a place for discussion and debate. We speak our mind. It should be yes, but since I've joined here, there is much less discussion and debate than there is telling me that I wanna suck Levy off because I don't agree with some of the things said about us during his tenure.

I would also like to see someone with fresh vision take the reigns, but unless I am in here daily calling levy a cunt, or making sure 90% of my posts in every other thread somehow have a thinly veiled dig at the owners, manager or a player I don't like - win lose or draw - apparently I'm a happy clapper.

I don't have an issue who wants to talk/moan/grumble about it - you do you.

What is stupid though is the rate it picks up when we lose as opposed to when we win and are feeling good because you can't want the owners out that bad if you're only saying you want them out when things are going bad.

Which is why it's a fake protest because this fanbase only has this energy when they're pissed off.

I moan about people using this forum and this thread as their own little grief hole. It’s not the opinion I’ve an issue with, it’s the repetition of the same point over and over that makes me react by complaining. If this consistent bitching wasn’t happening, I’d have fuck all to complain about. Seems like dudu dudu is of a similar mind.

Agreed ref JSO can’t stand them
So let’s say Greenpeace or Friends of the Earth ( I work in the city in a business that is in a large part linked to the oil industry by the way , but I am not anti all pressure groups , even those I don’t agree with )

My point is people are vexed and angry about much bigger issues than Levy whether you agree with them or not is irrelevant. People are largely apathetic is my point .

People give their opinions about Levy/ENIC on this thread which is on topic. Then you give your opinions about those posters not the subject matter.

Well I’m not going to fill in potholes at the weekend even though one fucked my car up recently . Moaning and doing nothing seems like human nature to me , otherwise there would be 10 large protests a day

I think para 2 is a very valid point . Human nature again I guess , people moan more when frustrated than when happy , but I think everyone knows that in reality.
 
Another thought nearly 2500 pages on Levy/ENIC . if no poster moaned and no poster defended it would probably be 100 pages. Surely it’s good for the forum having active threads. What I don’t get is whichever side anyone is on why it has to be so full of spite on a regular basis . Both sides guilty of this IMHO

Not being flippant but you return to the thread , you know by now what you will find when you open it up . I return cos I like to post my views on ENIC.

Genuine question why do you return if the content which you know you will find pisses you off so much?

I know Airfix and Shady will usually defend ENIC , I don’t agree with them but their views don’t piss me off . They have every right to be wrong 😀

Fair enough.

For what it’s worth, I think that opinion on our owners should reflect the present situation of the club, not a historical “one league cup in two decades” stance.

Like our opinions on the manager and players, opinion should fluctuate on the present success or otherwise. If we are doing badly, the owners need to take flack, but if we are doing well, they deserve their share of the praise. Presently? I’m ok with them, but would hope they could be improved upon. Same as a fair whack of our squad.

But there’s a number of players on here that are so entrenched in their position that it makes debate and discussion impossible. Really not what a forum should be about.
