Coming to that time of year again when thoughts turn to Xmas and the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol .

Martin Jol as Jacob Marley
Poch as the Ghost of CL final past
Ange as the Ghost of Spurs present
Alan Pardew as the Ghost of Spurs future

Scott Munn as Bob Cratchit
Ryan Mason as Tiny Tim
Donna Cullen as Mrs Cratchit

Eberneezer Scrooge ( auditioning now for a suitable actor, ideas welcome)

Slight tweak to the original story to keep it fresh , after all everything needs updating.

Eberneezer wakes up on Xmas day having been visited through the night by the four ghostly spectres , opens his window and sees a young boy. ( not a player from the Swiss team)

Come here lad is it still Xmas Day

Yes says the 10 year old

Eberneezer smiles throws him a set of keys and says “ I’ve had a shit nights sleep , here is 50p go and open the Go Kart Track “

Thereafter it was said no man in all the land knew how to celebrate the anniversary of VPN partnership day like Eberneezer Scrooge

I've no doubt there are fans that smiled at the fact Daniel Greedy has managed to get a little bit of extra income for the multi purpose area business empire.

It could be worse don't forget.
More than smiled

I reckon there's a few certain individuals that probably called in sick for work and are on their second bottle of champagne this morning

I only had a Vespa 50 special in 1984, couldn't do much rallying on that, but went to a few local soul night's.
Going to have a look through scootering monthly for local events.
I never owned a scooter but I was part of a large group that attended the national rallies in the mid 80's. All my mates who actually owned a scooter were forever tinkering about with the bloody things. They always seemed to have something wrong,or going wrong, which required too much time, effort and attention as far as i was concerned.

However; I certainly did embrace the national travel, all night dancing, live music, custom shows and campsites. I still have my MA1 pilot jacket covered in patches.

Happy days indeed.

Yeah they were notorious for sometimes being unreliable, but i have had two during my lifetime the first being at 16.
I am hoping and trying to get another by the time I'm 60.😁

Mate;

scooters are notorious for people coming off them. The little wheels don't help.

One of my best mates hit some ice, as he was turning right, a few years back aged around 50.

He was layed up for a while.

Be careful bud.

We're getting old.

Levy is the sort of bloke who would turn up to a 1/4 race at Santa Pod on a scooter.
He could easily afford to buy/build a 10 second car, but he'd see it as adequate just to finish on his scooter.

That was Poch’s fault. He was happy with the 12 man squad and there were no players in world football that could improve it
Lies No GIF
