Ffs. Disgusting. Live on sky sports, as we already knew. We don’t compete because we decide not to.

Sums it all up nicely. 6th in transfer fees paid since 2013 and 6th in wages. That encapsulates Levy and his sweet spot, just doing enough to be on the fringes but never threatning anything serious. It also proves what a disaster Postecoglou is.

If there was something to find amusement in, it's that Levy well and truly cannot hide anymore.

Our fanbase has been onto him for years and years, and only very clued up football fans were really aware of him. Now the problems at Spurs are plain to see to all in the football world and there's no way to gloss over it with a typical managerial sacking.

The thing is, if Levy was aware of his own limitations then he'd have been aggressively courting potential buyers of the club the moment that we moved into the new stadium. Poch got fucked over, but at least there was a mini bump culminating in the Conte CL qualification. Daniel, typically, put too much belief in his own ability as a 'football man' and mishandling of the playing squad has led us here.

Good luck getting a buyer to cough up as much for us now as a few seasons ago...

Edit: at a certain point even Levy should realise that staying on as chairman is actually starting to lose him money as the stake in the club is devalued. TL;DR: just get the fuck out.
I’d love the government / new football regulator to bring something in that fucked the value of his asset

Tbh tho I tend to think elite football clubs still have further to go. Hence all the NFL inspired US interest

Is there anything to stop them from selling the stadium, hotel and other physical assets to the ENIC holding company, at a price they choose? Could they then sell the club itself to a third party without these other income streams Levy has set up?
At this point I may end up taking that deal. Or something like the setup at United were Rathcliffe has more or less taken over the football operation but the Glazers are still the majority owners.

Just to get Levy well and truly away from the football.

Who hires Aussies to run a top professional football club???????

No disrespect to Aussies, I would ask the same question if there were Americans or Indians. These nations are not known for their football pedigree or traditions. They all have at least 2 sports above football .... This is criminal.

With all the talk and humiliation Levy is getting he could prove his critics wrong and sign a bunch of good players this window by overpaying a bit but I suspect even his damaged ego won’t let him do that.

The project Levy wants eventually is to not buy players at all I reckon.

If he could get away with selling Spurs best players and promoting academy graduates to replace them this would be his dream scenario.

Well, there are Scottish and Irish managers... their leagues is not that high either even when its their main sport...

But it is the sport where the elite of elite play and coach, it's where the money, the glory, the fame, the success is. Not the case in America, Australia, or India. In those countries if you want to be successful, make money, etc. in sports and sports management, you go NFL, ARF, NBA, Baseball, Cricket. There is no market for football players or managers, you will not be making big income. These are considered semi-pro, armature jobs. That's why he Ange spent his life traveling in that southasian, pacific area.

I don't know how Ange got the Celtic job, but we all can agree that in the SPL, Kelly Cates can win Celtic the SPL if she to manage them.

Again, not a knock on Australia, America, or India. It's just that they don't care about football. A world-top pro football club should not look in Australia or India for management skills to run football operation. They don't do it in their own country.

Does it make you feel any better?

I don’t.

I guess it gives me the slightest hope the pressure might force him to do something different

I feel a bit better , it’s a relief that after all these years of thinking the weasel is a wrong un the big media are finally highlighting that he doesn’t have the football clubs best interests at heart

It’s felt at times that you’re a conspiracy theorist & now you’re shown proof we didn’t land on the moon ( one for VirginiaSpur VirginiaSpur 😉) & it’s definitely NOT a “ We told you so “ moment as it’s actually very sad as we are all Spurs fans & he has divided us for a long time , he has turn our passion into despair or apathy. He has turned my love for THFC into embarrassment

Long may the media call him out for what he is
