It feels like the fan base have finally woken up. Levy will never take us to the next level , whilst Europa is the aim he doesn’t need to push the boat out . The issue is all the other clubs have improved and we are sinking slowly whilst we wait to see if 18yr old championship players become top class premier league players . He lucked out with Kane , I dread to think where we wouid have been without him .

Do you think Nike prices kits based on how good a team is? You realize when Nike signs a contract to take over our kit and apparel manufacturing, they set the sale prices?
Nike will not decide prices without the club being involved. Who gets the royalties? The Football Team? I didn't think so. It goes into the coffers of the club. The more expensive kit is the more money the team make

Conte made no sense in this regard.

Mourinho wasn't hired to make the squad better. Mourinho was hired because Levy (and many others - check his thread at that time) believed Poch did not have the mentality and ability to instill the pragmatic "winning is all that matters" mentality to get our squad over the top. It was believed we had capitulated in 2 successive league title chases and then folded in the CL final in Madrid because we were too mentally frail to cope with the pressure and we needed a serial winning manager to come in and instill the final piece. We didn't bring Mourinho in to buy players for him - it was believed we had a squad capable of winning silverware that just needed a better manager.
Mourinho even said he didn’t need players and told Levy the existing squad was good enough to win titles.

What a story. Breaking news

Tottenham Hotspur were going to sign —————————— but the Barclays App was down and they couldn’t make the payment . “ it’s the truth I swear , I didn’t even pay any tax to HMRC “ Mr Lewis was quoted as saying .
Allegedly

There are industry standards for squad investment too, and guess who isn't meeting them.
I agree on wages but not on transfer fees. Our wage spending is lower than it should be.

This whole thing about season tickets is a complete myth. Our season tickets have always been among the most expensive. Check this out from 1991/92:

Our research revealed that, in 1991-92, the match day cost of an ordinary ticket for an ordinary fan was £20 at Woolwich, £17 at Tottenham Hotspur, £11 at Manchester City, £7 at each of Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham, and £6 at Newcastle United.

There we are with ticket prices more than double those of Liverpool or Manchester United. We’re just behind Woolwich.

Then look at this link with ticket prices from the first two years of the PL…

London clubs were charging a lot more than their northern rivals (apart from Leeds).

Do you see an obvious connection between success and ticket prices?

This is not how it works at all. Nike has contracts with dozens of clubs and national teams - all of the kit prices are the same. Clubs have zero input on price point of goods.
