My two tickets for the Man City are on the exchange and haven't sold in a full week now.

Two seats together, not selling. No interest at all. Unthinkable until recently.

I’ll happily take them off your hands mate. I’m down in London for the first time since Covid for that game. Not sure how the old ticket exchange works though. I ain’t giving the bald fucker £100 for the privilege of being able to buy a ticket.

Yeah. He sold the club to owners intent on winning and with the resources to back that intent up.
Meanwhile, Levy continues to feed off our club, as the team achieve fuck all, becomes a perennial laughing stock, and has no intention of getting out and making way for owners with sporting ambition.
They're in a better place than us and the fact you find that amusing is pretty damn well disgusting.
Well said JT... sporting ambition... those two words are so important to any football club. Unfortunately you have to add the words "lack of" in front of them when you describe ENIC/Levy and our club. It's embarrassing that a team that was finishing 5th in the Championship six seasons ago are now head and shoulders above us.

I’ve been thinking about his behaviour in Patagonia and his army of security guards down there , the super yacht etc , he is actually the caricature of a Bond Villain .

DR No transfers for two windows

I’m sure there are plenty of other film titles one can play with

EDIT: ref the stupid Werner deals : You only loan twice

I am just glad that apart from allegedly

Shorting the pound driving up ordinary people’s mortgages
Displacing the indigenous population from their own land in Patagonia
Being convicted of insider trading
Trying to rip off the taxpayer with the furlough scheme whilst living on a yacht and not contributing to the Uk exchequer.

Other than the above we can be really proud of our

Ambition is a glorious thing, if you show and are prepared to go for it, you can go past a lot of teams.
We are now a mid table club, a stepping stone club that attracts youngsters for a few seasons who, can then leave for clubs who want and do win.

It was also disgusting that a team that was top of the 2nd division and promoted the year before won the league when we were champions the year before in 1961. They are not head & shoulders above us. Last time we played them on 3rd November 2024 4-1 to us.

Last time I looked they were in the last 16 of the Champions League and 10 points ahead of us in the Premier League but you keep looking at one game to define who is better. If we used your metrics both Ipswich and Leicester are better than us.

That is not Head & Shoulders above us. I doubt MU who are down with us consider Villa head & Shoulders above them either.
Last season we finished 16 points above Chelsea but to describe us as Head & Shoulders above them at that time is as exaggerating as your comment.

Trajectory... they are building, showing ambition and we are collapsing and showing whatever the opposite of ambition is. For me, that's enough to say they are head and shoulders clear of us even if we do somehow beat them Sunday.

We are building as well. Look at all the young players on loan many of whom came to us because of Ange's reputation of giving young players a chance. We have brought in 3 players in the transfer window that should improve the side. I feel I am arguing with a Gooner. This is the ENIC/.Levy thread and there are plenty of reasons to criticise them for but exaggerating a rival over us is not one of them.
