I mean you still said it though.

One thing the mega Levy outers have in common... all happy to wish death upon people so their team can win a football trophy.

Disgusting.
The only person I ever saw wish death on Levy ,etc was Zomb , he's been banned from the forum.

You should probably remove this post, mate.

Our Chair has met with representatives of CfT recently to discuss areas we can agree on, and we also met with them a couple of years ago. We absolutely support the right for peaceful protest and have explained to them that there are different ways to achieve our goals.

Their position was not one that our members are aligned with (as discussed at recent AGM) in that a Levy / ENIC Out stance is only any use if there is a more attractive option on the table. There is currently no prospective buyer for the Club so a Levy out position is not only probably unrealistic, but we don't know what we would be comparing it to.

Would we want a position that Man U supporters find themselves in, for example?

Our position is to hold the Club to account and ensure that they do better against the five ownership principles:

* Commit to winning: Invest to the level needed to secure league and cup success.
* Attract & retain talent: Build a transfer policy and competitive wages to secure top players.
* Future-proof success: Develop elite youth talent to strengthen the squad and sustain excellence.
* Lead with integrity: Champion ethical standards, strong governance, and financial sustainability—reinvesting in the team while keeping tickets affordable.
* Fans first: Engage, consult, and collaborate with supporters and their representatives to build loyalty, passion, and success on and off the pitch.

There is a lot of common ground in our ownership principles and the items they have raised in their letter, as well as much content of Spurs Charter. So we can much better achieve these goals if we work together, than by criticising and attacking each other. We, and the FAB have direct access to the Board and we intend to capitalise on that to the very best of our ability. Both approaches, working alongside each other, can be powerful and, hopefully, effective

Me.... and not the guy who jokes about how it would be great if the owners of a football club they support that weren't being good owners died in a helicopter crash

If that's where anyone's brain goes I think they need a break from football.
It was a bad joke that he regretted and apologised for, ie he didn't really mean it literally. You seem to be using it as a stick to attack posters with, who want Levy out.

If that's where you're at my advice is to take a break.

I've seen quite a few posters mention 'barring a dodgy helicopter incident' it's just not funny.

Apologies to all who wear their Hard-core ENIC out badges on their sleeves... this wasn't directed at all of you.... if you've mentioned or joked about a helicopter crash or any other incident bringing about the death of our owners then you know who you are.

Nah, I'm happy to own what a mega levy outer is.

Someone on here that dedicates 90% of their posts, in every thread to twisting things and bringing levy into the conversation where ever possible..

Maybe if he did the footballing success side of things better it would stop . In fact we know it only takes two or three wins for it to quieten down , come on Daniel deliver some success get people off your back .However continue with the winning is hard narrative 25 years in to his tenure and he will probably get some stick

Your I have very little emotional attachment to the "game" shtick is proper boring, You post more in this thread than half the people you are constantly moaning about.

I can only think of one or two who might have mentioned it, and I firmly believe it was tongue in cheek.

I doubt anyone wishes death on Levy. A lot of us just want him to fuck off to the Bahamas with his surrogate daddy Joe Lewis.

Have we ever seen any kind of result of their “Direct access to the board?”

Stick is fine - youre actually quite funny about it - but there is a constant thing where this person is a cunt, that person is a cunt - player misses an easy chance - cunt - player doesnt play well enough - cunt - owners - cunts - manager - fat cunt.

Joking about people dying in helicopter crashes over a game of football - pretty shitty mate and yet not THAT many people call out that kind of rhetoric when it happens.

I mean, tongue in cheek - it's still not funny and I don't think it has any place in discussions about footie - but each to their own I guess...

Good to see more questions being asked of Levy in the media, even if it’s only light touch.
It's absolutely fantastic. He / they have been getting an easy ride for far too long. It's now out there in wider football world for everyone to see how they hijacked a football club to benefit their non football interests.

Even if they're here another decade, the pressure and the unrest should at least mean they pay more attention to the football team than if we'd all just followed the path of the happy clappers who have stamped on any critical voices in the past, accused 'Levy outers' as being gooners and worse, and generally buried their heads in the sand despite all the evidence around them.

And that, surely, has to be a good thing for the football team we all claim to support.

That's fair. Football fandom is all about passion and emotions so I can sort of understand it but we can still be civilised.

I'm very much anti ENIC but I do wonder how opinions would change if we had won the CL in the same season the new stadium opened.

I think it would have remained the same - All I heard at that time was that Poch's 'success' was all in spite of the owners anyway... few losses here or there, bad couple of defeats and the pitchforks would come out regardless IMHO

Have seen Liverpool fans call for FSG to go after a bad season despite their trophies. This season I've seen Liverpool fans after losses complain that they haven't replaced Mane, Fabinho, Firminho properly with players that are like for like value and saying the owners are cunts -

Many many Levy outers have not wished death on them . I know I did once say I’d like Lewis’s yacht to get lost in the Bermuda Triangle , but people should be able to take a joke ffs. So if somebody wished piles on Levy (that’s something else I have done ), that’s meant to be taken literally that I wish harm on him . Wishing someone piles to see them squirming uncomfortably in their seat is different to saying something disgusting like wishing cancer or heart failure on someone . There is massive hypocrisy on this issue , many people wish death on Judas with far greater vitriol than their posts on Levy . Where is the righteous indignation then from these delicate flowers, I’m for just ignoring Campbell personally. More because I think he prefers attention to being ignored and it makes us look small beer

I tend to ignore Campbell , obviously what he did was out of order but he’s not a stable bloke at all . Definitely has issues

I've heard Spurs crowds sing this particular chant during the late 70's and 80's.

United fans got that everywhere they went.

It was a different time but this was 'normal' behaviour that occurred frequently.

The racism was even worse.

Unbelievably worse.

It's still unpleasant to hear that being sung but there has been a huge improvement in every way regarding abusive chanting.
