Not entirely true. They have to take into account the feelings of “their people”, but they often quote the “greater good” argument and this tends to quieten any dissent.

Been out all day and couldn’t go to the game. A quick glance at this thread seems to be people spinning there was only 200 people at the protest . Then I see the videos posted and Sky and it seems well over a thousand to me , probably nearer 2000 than 200 . A lot of what gets posted on here is opinion presented as fact , seems the Levy Defence Force have decided to present alternative facts, or lies as they used to be called .
I think "we now own one of the biggest football clubs on the planet" dwarfs any issue over who previously owned said football club anyway, from an optics and PR stance
I think there might be one number for the pre-match protest, which was large, and another for the post match sit in.

I think I said at the time there were a couple of hundred but that was early doors before the march started, then it started getting bigger.
The march was absolutely well attended.
Being a touch disingenuous here. A couple of posters, including myself, watched the thing at the stadium live and it wasn’t exactly mobbed. Then the videos started to come in of the actual march from Sports Direct and it was a lot better attended. And I can’t recall anyone not posting an “actually, fair play” in response to those.
To be a dick though, as is my wont, there’s usually a fuckload of folk wandering to the stadium past Sports Direct, so being picky, were they all protesting, or were some just walking? Nevertheless, a good looking turnout.

Protesters did score one victory , the post match review with Ben etc was moved down to the north stand end.
On BBC 606 phone in after match there were five Spurs supporters called in, one Levy out, the other four were not anti Levy but had the view would new owners be any better , if you take Man U as an example it's losing Ferguson that has caused their decline not the lack of spending or paying massive wages.

Watching the post match analysis on Sky, Gary Neville was fucking class. Pissed all over Defoe and his pathetic defence of his former (and probably current) paymaster.
Also, absolutely loved his comments that Spurs are a MUCH BIGGER club than Man City.
