We'll be relegated within the next 3 seasons

We're on the Villa/Newcastle path from a few years ago

Rudderless with a deluded dictator who won't let go til he's dragged everything down with him

People think we are at rock bottom right now are in for a rude awakening , I think things are going to collapse even further and quicker than we imagined

Chairman’s Statement

"As we announce our financial results for the year to 30 June 2024, we currently find ourselves in 14th position in the Premier League, navigating what has been a highly challenging season on the pitch. We are, however, in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League. Winning this competition would see welcome silverware and mean qualification for the UEFA Champions League. We must do everything we can to support the team in these final key stages.

“Since opening our new stadium in April 2019, we have invested over £700 million net in player acquisitions. Recruitment remains a key focus, and we must ensure that we make smart purchases within our financial means. I often read calls for us to spend more, given that we are ranked as the ninth richest club in the world. However, a closer examination of today’s financial figures reveals that such spending must be sustainable in the long term and within our operating revenues. Our capacity to generate recurring revenues determines our spending power. We cannot spend what we do not have, and we will not compromise the financial stability of this club – indeed, our off-pitch revenues have significantly supplemented the lower football revenues this year, testament to our diversified income strategy.

“I want to thank everyone who supports us through good times and bad. We are resilient and passionate about our Club. We shall aim to finish this season as strongly as we can and continue to build for success on the pitch.”

Daniel Levy

Fed up with his excuses. We used to win things growing up as a supporter. Since post fa cup 91 weve been mediocre, buying players who leave who go onto better things. Need an upgrade in ownership otherwise were just going round in circles such as losing to Woolwich, chelsea every season, getting spanked at anfield and reaching a semi final now and again. Its obvious we need a new owner who can take us to next level. Newcastle changed owner and won a trophy.

Just sick of it. He takes the fans for mugs.

Their whole strategy is selling the illusion to compete. We are basically never in a position to compete where we have players all growing together to peak. Because as soon as a player becomes that good, they want out, because they don’t want to wait around for the team to actually be in a position to challenge.

Romero will leave this summer. Club will cash in. Probably promote Dragusin to replace him who is nowhere near good enough instead of pushing the boat out for someone like Guehe.

Gray and Bergvall will be the next ones who once they become that good, they’ll want out because Levy will have failed to bring in top quality alongside them. We buy young, develop them and then we lose our best players. Success is a side effect as opposed to the main aim. We don’t buy to win.

It’s a cycle I’ve seen for 25 years now. It’s always the same. Only time it wasn’t, was under Poch. And that is looking like a fluke.

I’ve got to the point where I just can’t be arsed with it. There’s better ways to spend our time. Unfortunately the club we love is held hostage by a fucking cunt called Levy and there is nothing we can do about it.

Oh and another thing. Our loser mentality comes from the top. Said it for years. The bloke does not have a single competitive cell in his body when it comes to sport. He’ll fight as hard as he can for a finance or property deal, but in terms of sport he’s just a loser who doesn’t get it. Like that twat that tries to talk about football down the pub and everyone thinks, shut up mate you’re clueless.

Levy sets the culture and he’s terrible at it. It’s why the team always roll over. They know they don’t really need to win. It’s like a leisure centre.

Tbh I think some of the legends at club know were run by an owner who's not ambitious enough. Got vibe with sheringham interview after legends game on youtube. Were declining and its duty as supporters not to allow it. Allowed Newcastle, villa, brighton to overtake us. Even forest are above us after 20 odd years in championship. Any more takers levy? Salford?

My expectations were very low before reading the Statement but still i am disappointed.
And a bit shocked that he comes up with we spent 700 since opening the stadium.
It all reads like just be happy with what you get at least we are not doing a leeds.
Now I really believe he just laughs in his office at all the people who keep spending money on this club.

I mean did nobody else at the clubread this Statement before posting it?
And if so were they like 'Oh thats fine mr levy, this will calm down the supporters and it will give them hope for next season. '

There really is no hope until levy is gone that much is for sure
