Beginning to think when it comes to running a football team Levy is the Liz Truss of the football world .
Not sacking Ange is indefensible now , has been for several months in fact . I know some called it correctly right from the start .

There will not be 3 clubs as bad as Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich next season. If this mob do not do something major in the summer we will not be this “lucky” next year. The younger players will still be too inexperienced and the wise, grown up players are gonna be gone. Terrible days ahead. They must correct course. And majorly.
I believe I heard on the postgame that of the bottom 8 clubs, only Ipswich and we have not sacked our managers.

Bonkers to think those poverty clubs would find the situation unacceptable yet we have been content

Chances are there will be, there's a considerable gap between the Champo and the Prem which is ever increasing.

And it's virtually impossible that a club like ours go down, this season is a total anomaly for many reasons.

My opinion we need to make at least one premier wing signing, and probably a hybrid ST/winger that can provide credible cover should Solanke get injured.

Not saying that I would want to buy these exact two players, but they would cover what we need: Kudus (RW) and Delap (ST/LW).

We need to ensure we survive and aim to finish in European spots or just outside them this next year. After 1 more season of development, our young core should be really ready to cook. We could see this group start for us 26/27:

Dom
Moore-Kulu-Odo
Berg-Gray
Udog-VdV-Danso-Djed
Vic

Add in 1 or 2 mystery future purchases to improve that and it could be a really exciting side to see play. This and next aren't our seasons of glory; we need to prepare for the future 1-2 seasons away.

I agree but the club still has to actually do enough to ensure that can't possibly happen. And this season, refusing to fire a horribly bad coach, I believe they are capable of any sort of fuck up you can imagine.

wonder if Levy's plan is to cheese off the season ticket holders so they don't renew then fill those seats with more day trippers who buy out the megastore These day trippers will bring in more cash per game than the season ticket holders

I'm sure he'll know those numbers and already be playing some sort of sick ticketing brinksmanship with it- to maximize returns and profits or whatever. You can pretty much always count on Levy for that sort of cynicism.

Think we can all agree that normally Levy would have sacked Ange, So there must be something else there
Has Ange & his agent taken Levy's pants down with the contract ?
is Ange & Lange giving Levy the emperor's new clothes tale ?
I don't see it being this "new owners " undermining Levy that a few on here are starting to say
is it that there are still enough Ange inners out there that Levy thinks it will come right in the end ?

He knows it’s done, everyone does but I think he wants to show some faith and give him a chance in the Europa (he’s still aware of the criticism of sacking Jose before a final). Probably thinks injuries have hurt Ange and with players back, they might turn it around as well as Agnes second season revised (which IMO has absolutely no bearing on likely Europa League winning)

Sounds like a really great plan.
This is one that Daniel can actually deliver . Staying up is hard will be the new winning is hard mantra .

I love the new Levy video being shot in atmospheric black and white . He really has sucked all the joy out of being a Spurs fan whilst draining fans bank accounts

We don't buy premier talent and Levy has already said we won't be spending outside our means this summer which translated means... Werner on loan, a 17 year old from China and a player from one of the relegated teams as the marquee signing.

I didn’t realise that Ireland had College NFL football . Just seen it on an advert

I honestly think it’s simpler than that . No one wants the job in our current situation & he knows a Mason type move won’t go down well at all . The shorter time this inevitable happens he’ll take as a win

I’m sure someone will come next season but for now it appeals to no one who will satisfy the fans , he may get desperate & have to throw a lot of money at luring someone in .

He’s played Russian roulette & already shot himself in the foot several times . If Ange is still here on Thursday it’s almost turned into a lose lose situation for the “business genius “ regardless of result . His previous actions of how he treats managers has well & truly bitten him on the arse & he’s check mated himself

We're going to finish lower this season than we did under 10 years of Alan Sugar. We all remember what he was like. After 24 years that is some legacy.

There is definitely a power speaking calmly and giving the air of professionalism. If Levy was a cockney geezer fans would have seen through him years ago, Sugar was a lot of bluff and bluster. Levy ain’t posh but he is well presented. I have worked with a few posh chaps who where incompetent as they come but got away with due to the air of sophistication. The club is in total chaos but the chairman appears to be a smartly dressed accountant.

The longer I live the more I realise presentation is often more important than delivery. Both Levy and Ange I have to admit do present well, better than what they are. Levy as this astute football chairman and Ange as this master football philosopher who learned under Puskas.

I think levy is similar to a politician, people have woken up to the fact that the majority of politicians are liars . There’s probably more bullshit coming from his type than a “geezer” .
