Not long ago, we regularly finished above Liverpool and the Scum. Ok, we didn't win anything, but it's clear that Levy took it easy and focussed on the stadium and getting in events, which don't even fund the squad as he treats that side of the business as separate. It was because the glory wasn't that far behind us during the 90's.
The miserly budget for players and wages was started by Sugar and then taken to the next level by the cunts from ENIC.
Spurs collected trophies up until Sugar took over.
It should never be forgotten that Sugar sold 29% to ENIC in 2001 but retained a significant amount of shares until 2007 when he sold what he had left to them.
I'm not a financial person but I recall Sullivan and Gold being outed as minority shareholders in Spurs at that time, as Spurs was still a PLC. I think they were pissed off because ENIC issued more shares around this time which they felt devalued every other shareholder's stake in Spurs.
ENIC then began buying up the small shareholdings until the whole club was eventually swallowed up by the entity that is still feeding off all of us.
I see we now have an ex gooner in the boardroom too.
I think ENIC are full of Woolwich tbh.

He's a real Spurs supporter feeling the pain, hating the defeats and the damage it is doing to our club, and in particular the people who are responsible for putting the club where it is.

I have made my views public before but whilst I think ENIC/Levy have failed to bring home trophies and should now let someone else have a go, I can not see that happening imminently. The team are capable of doing much better than they currently are and as they have not done so Ange should go at the end of the season. I do think that will happen
