You do know why... the revenue generated by this club is being leveraged to fund vanity projects that have nothing to do with football ambition and success. Worse still, the club has taken profit from these projects and not spent it on the team as we were all told, but ringfenced it to fund more vanity projects. They are bleeding the club dry whilst doing the bear minimum to remain in the Premier League. That's their footballing ambition. And of course if we were all wrong, you would hear from the board but not one of the gutless cunts has said anything during this shit show. I'd love the Head of Communication role at this club. Six figures for fuck all work. They have nothing to say because this season has been great for them. Few little cup runs, no relegation, lowest wage to revenue ratio in the league, a few concerts, new hotel planning permission approved. Perfect.

Where, in the financial books, are these ringfenced funds? I can’t see them anywhere. I do see commercial revenue hugely supplementing football operations though.
We get told that all non football revenue goes into the club. That seems to be true. According to the books.
Where’s the evidence that funds are being used for these vanity projects? I’ve seen us take out loans by leveraging the value of the club, but not spending gained money on these.

I listened to this and I honestly don't know what to make... first and foremost I never tell anyone how to fan but he talks like we've lost eight or nine games and are sitting in 6th or 7th... I also don't remember any of our fans saying they would take relegation if we could win a cup. That's total bollocks. And this gem, we want Levy to fail more than we want Spurs to win is utter crap. We want Levy to fuck off so we can maybe have a chance of winning. Jeez - maybe this guy is the Head of Communication for the Club. He forgets that all that passion he talks about has been sucked out of us by a board who doesn't give a fuck about football and a manager (appointed by this board) who has no idea how to set us up for success. I'm just kidding, the 3m is right as at 30th June 2024 but I couldn't tell you where this sits in "the books" and frankly I couldn't care... I am not an accountant and whilst you talk like someone who understands the nuisances of financial management I don't think you are either.
So can you tell me where in "the books" it shows how much non football revenue was spent on the first team? You do realise that nearly all that commercial revenue is generated by the men's first team so why should it not be spent on football operations. Taking out loans (that you know you have to pay back with interest right) by leveraging the value of the club is in fact taking money from the football club over the long term. I might be wrong but I have never seen a hotel save a penalty or score a winner in a cup final but I'm sure "the books" will suggest otherwise. I'm not bothering to care about our financial accounts. The evidence you want is on the field every Thursday and Sunday. Look hard, and you will see what I am talking about. Then look at last night and draw an opinion on why two clubs with almost identical revenue streams, geography, history etc. are operating in different stratospheres when it comes to footballing ambition and competition.
