If Levy leaves (yes he will have a shed full of money) But where will he get a job that pays him & his son pockets full of wages every month ?
for me & most folks you would just sit back and live on the money BUT he needs work, and who would empoly him looking at his record ?
They've made their money. I'm sure they also did a bit of jiggery pokery like old inside trader Joe and they're already set for life.

We're properly fucked arent we. Even before you start on Liverpool, Woolwich, City, Chelsea, Newcastle and Villa you have to look at the mid table sides like Brighton and Palace. Watched the latters semi final and id say at least half their team would be first teamers for us. So many other clubs are better run with better managers and want to improve. Levy banked everything on PSR having teeth and has screwed it.
With all due respect Sir, many on here think this squad is top four... keep it quite but it's all the managers fault we are shit. Now I have been all in on Ange Out since Leicester away (first game of season) but people think it's all on him and we have this amazing squad that when free of the mad Aussie's shackles will suddenly play inspired Messi like football. So don't worry about PSR... the only action we need to take is to sack the manager and we will have 11 new signings overnight.

Yup.

We'll be a midtable irrelevance.

Don't forget all of these teams will be saddled with similar if not more debt than us... Everton's new stadium was estimated at 750m but is over 1b now, redevelopment of St James park 800m - 1b, new Old Trafford will be 2b, full rebuild of Stamford Bridge 2b... Villa and Leeds expansions are 100m each but that gets them ~10,000 extra seats in a stadium that has ridiculously high maintenance costs because of it's age. They are kicking the can down the road. I would worry about City, they are anomaly because they can't even fill their current stadium and it doesn't really matter. They are state owned and money never runs out for them. No need for creative debt financing, just borrow another 1b off the state.
You say these other clubs with ambitious plans are kicking the financial can down the road. Wouldn't it be refreshing if we did the same in a genuine attempt to give our success starved fans some glory.

We really are the magnolia paint of the Premier League.

Not a single writer predicts us top 5.

To be fair, the same applies to Man United, but it underlines that no-one has confidence in Levy to fix the problem.

We shouldn't be in anyone's predictions to finish top 5.

Forest weren't in anyone's predictions for the CL places either.

This season has been a freak case in the ENIC years, most likely outcome is a return to the mean and we finish somewhere between 4-8th. Most likely 8th.

There's another detail and that is that Ange has had a say with the transfers. Blow 50 m on BJ instead on a top player and yes, your squad strength will suffer. Spend 65 m on a striker barely scoring. Yes, it's more than just a lack of tactics. It's an actual destruction of resources and those funds are never coming back. So to say he has a weak squad, guess why.

Man Utd and Spurs....Glazers and ENIC.

The 2 worst ownerships currently stinking out the Premier League as the league table demonstrates perfectly

Yeah, any competent manager would get us into the top 6-8 you'd imagine.

Very much groupthink from their journalists who have all played it pretty safe with the top 5.

The optimist in me is saying theat Levy is letting it drift because he is in negotiations to sell. But the realist in me is telling me that it's just the culmination of years of neglect and a string of continuous bad decisions.

Apologies for the third post in a row but there is a lot in this. Like the Ndombele window we have pissed the money up the wall. Wouldnt put it past Levy to pull another 2018 this summer.

Today is a new day and I have decided to accentuate the positive . I am nearly 64 so I doubt very much I will be alive to see the next 25 years of Spurs under ENIC . I would bank lasting until 85 now in a heartbeat,so 21 years and 2 months more of this dross and I’m free. In keeping with my upbeat outlook I am assuming Heaven is a Gooner and Chelscum free zone . If we don’t sack Ange for some strange reason at seasons end I will happily go next year at 65, who is with me .
All my family die young . I’m 45 and my dad snuffed it at 47 , so I reckon I’ve got another 10 years max as I’m quite active. I’m happy with that. Seen all I want to except spurs win something major. I’ve accepted that won’t happen now, but I’m still hopeful of a domestic trophy . Who knows it could be the Europa cup in may .
If I haven’t left this mortal coil at 55 I reckon I will go in one of those pods. I will get a representative of THFC to turn the oxygen off. I want them to be held responsible

Has he really had a say in them... if so then what is the point of Lange who is suppose to oversee all football transfers in and out... Ange is like a guy who won a competition to manage Spurs, he's not going to rock the boat which is why, unlike Conte, you never hear him blame Levy for leaving him with an inadequate squad to compete. Ange is a miserable fucking useless twat but trying to put all our woes on his shoulders is plain wrong... and so what if he did sign off on it... Lange, Munn, Levy... they could easily of trumped him. The idea for BJ and Solanke did not start in Ange's tiny mind. It came from Lange and the scouting network and of course Ange could have said no but lets think what the alternatives might have been... okay, you don't want Solanke... here is Dominic Calvert-Lewin... don't fancy BJ... no problem... what about Mason Mount? As much as I hate Ange, it's lazy to blame him for this entire mess.
