Anyone think Baldy will have a blinding transfer window
Who feels he talked the talk on CL and PL and will walk the walk

The walkers of the walk from a better place are spending fortunes , meanwhile our slimeball owner is playing smartest man in the room with people who do not even acknowledge his existence

More comfortable to not believe it?

Same guy was reporting Qatar interest before the knews broke of a takeover

Personally I don’t find it hard to believe that Lewis would sell but Levy won’t let go

No, he wasn’t. The Qatar stories had been doing the rounds for a while. You can believe his story or not. Personally it’s a bit too cute for me. If you have watched Levy for the last 20 years it would be very easy to make it up. The stuff about Lewis being keen and Levy stone walling makes no sense. Whatever Levy feels about selling the club, he would not mug off Lewis like that. And if Lewis decided to sell there is not a thing Levy could do about it. That’s the truth of it.

Also being honest here, his story sounded heavily leaned towards the interests of the Qataris and certainly with some of his own elaboration added.

The stuff about Lewis wanting to Sell and Levy not moving sounds entirely believable to me. The most believable part of the story.

Again, it’s a good story, a lot of the beats I could have made up knowing Levy after all these years. Flav would have obviously talked to him before doing the shows and made his decision, but the guy just felt off to me and loved the sound of his own voice. He may have heard some stuff but I think he’s a bit of a fantasist who took it and ran with it.

If the bit about Lewis agreeing to sell is accurate then Levy's intransigence is pretty irrelevant tbh.

All any potential buyer looks for is over all control and ENIC's share should be enough to satisfy the 51% threshold therefore Baldy would be set for a parting of the ways.

Contrary to popular opinion Levy's share of 29%+ relates to ENIC not THFC as does the 69%+ of the Lewis family which means there is circa 15% held by others.

If anything winning a trophy has delayed the departure of Levy and the news about the loan conditions might easily retain his presence for another 10-15 years?

Fortunately, Levy doesn't have that luxury. The empire is built around that FC. And it's a FC formed out of History and not League title popularity. Clubs with history are harder to break down. Beyonce and 50 cents won't save him. He needs Us
He will continue to grow the non football events for year round, solid, guaranteed income.
The team will be run on a shoestring. Wages will reduce, younger players brought in on tens, not hundreds of thousands. We will never actively invest enough money in the playing staff to seriously attempt to win a big prize*

*The europa league, much as people want it to be, is not that hard to win and not that big a prize

I see Twat1882 is downplaying our major european trophy again.

Spurs fan my arse LMAO.

Fuck off and sit down you gooner ponce. You're not welcome here.

Typical gooner oxygen thief - downplaying our win. Imagine doing that and pretending to be a spurs fan. Pathetic little trumpet.

I think it’s fair to assume Levy and Lewis made a gentlemen’s agreement when forming ENIC and buying the club that Lewis would fund it, Levy would have control to develop it, he would never ask Lewis for more money to buy players and such forth, and when the time came to sell, it would be at both their choosing.

That’s why Levy fucking about and acting unprofessionally with a potential Qatari bid when Lewis was keen wouldn’t make sense. If Lewis felt he was not acting respectfully he could sell it out from under him IMO.

I also feel Levy knows there’s a ticking clock to all this. When Lewis dies, his kids won’t be held to their agreement. If they want to sell, they’ll do it whatever he thinks about it.

Don't worry about Levy. It will be fine. We've got TF, new staff, good coaches, quite a good squad. There shouldn't be any issues this season.
