Young talents via data in the front end and dodgy deals in the back end, club is cooking.
Per Vinai's video interview: Lange will focus on player scouting, performance, analytics and the youth program. Fabio will focus more on loans, pathways to the first team, player transfers and such.
I like the new structure. Lange came across weak at getting big deals done. It always felt like he needed Levy or Ange to help him close a deal (Tel and Dragusin are 2 that come to mind). But his talent IQ does seem to be a strength so I'm glad he's basically back to scouting. Paratici seems to be much more able to get big deals done with a lot less fuss.
But as always, I'm not going to let a few board room changes fool me into thinking everything is perfect. Lets see how smooth the January transfer window goes or do we find ourselves waiting until the last day of the window again! We'll get a good idea in January if much has actually changed.

I really think with Levy gone, this is one of the best arrangement that could happen. I would have hoped for Lange to be gone, but with Paratici coming in now officially, they could well be very complementary in skill sets for a very strong department to look forward to.
I think Takeover Panel rules might oblige them to make an offer for the other shares (but wouldn't swear to it).
Finally our club is adopting the same corporate structure 90% of comapnaies also do with divisions, departments, no longer with a dictator like hierarchy but with a co-operation style with specialisation in the fields they should be focused on.

Some interesting discussion points including rumours that Vinai was foisted upon Levy, Levy’s dismissal got nasty as Lewis family weren’t happy about the management style buyout Levy was trying to orchestrate staying on as Chairman, the sale is still very likely but more of a long game than initially thought by the experts in that field, the Lewis family sudden attendance at games is PR show etc.
A lot of it is still rumour and opinion generated so view with a pinch of salt, but definitely worth a watch.

That panel only applies in the UK though, so if you buy a company that is registered outside of the UK, that happens to own a company, I doubt it would be enforceable

Agreed. On paper they complement each other's skillsets quite well. Will be interesting to see how it work.
