ENIC In or ENIC Out

Even considering the injuries, I think it is pretty mental that they thought that yesterday's forward line (and subs) are acceptable for a club with ambitions of winning the title

We spent so much money and need to cut our losses with so much crap: Johnson, Odobert , Tel, Johnson, maybe even Vic. Not sure how Lange is still in a job

Ambitions of what? 😂

Having had time to reflect on the firing of Levy, I'm becoming a little more suspicious of the motivation of the Lewis family.
We all know the anti ENIC sentiment was rife among the fanbase. Even when not on open display it's been bubbling under the surface ready to explode. ..unrest and division was everywhere.

Now, rightly or wrongly, the focus of the anti ENIC sentiment was Daniel Levy because he was their public face. The puss filled head of the boil that the fans can actually see rather than the festering mess beneath the surface of the skin.....Levy OUT was far more prominent than ENIC OUT.

maybe the Lewis cartel think that by removing the visible target of the unrest and anger they can continue their long term strategy of scamming the fanbase while increasing the asset value until the opportune time arrives to cash in.

Maybe all the recent guff about statues being erected, wanting to win more often, cash injections etc is just a ploy to buy more time? I've already been told last week by someone close to the club a deal has already been struck to replace Frank with Poch after the world cup in an obvious attempt to enamour themselves with the fanbase.

I'll hold back on my criticism for now. But January is gonna be a massive indication of where we're heading

One day people will wake up to this, folk are giddy now because they made their issues with Daniel personal but its still the same old people running the club...

The Lewis children do not run the club in the same way that Levy had a hands on control of everything. It will be some time before we know if there are any major differences and January is much too soon. They have put some money into the club and unlike their father seem to have a real interest in the club. Muv
Ch too soon to know if things will improve.

The whole point of sacking Levy was to change the running of the club, Dan 's talking shite again.

Whoever took the club out of Levy's control faced this task.

As supporters we should give them 2 windows.

We will just undermine Frank if we turn on ENIC after every bad result.

Levy got 24 years.

The players and the manager need our support at the moment.

ENIC have done a lot right since their internal review.

Hopefully they will pump more of Levy's assets into the playing squad so he can literally sweat on whether Odebert, Tel and Simons come good.

He took his bonus payments; hopefully he receives his medicine for the six seasons of shame he has brought on the supporters of the club.

What's the difference between this cash injection to the one in 2022 and the one in 2008?

If they wanted to make a statement and support their claims of wanting to compete for the league then how is the £100m they're shouting from the rooftops anywhere near enough?

I think it's sometimes better to engage your brain before you speak for once.

If they wanted to change the running of the club why have they hired the exact same recruitment team that Daniel hired?

Why do they think that a cash injection of £100m will touch the sides when it's even less than what they put in last time?

'Change the running of the club' is purely a buzz sentence to get naive little fans like you creaming your pants when in reality you don't even know what it fucking means.

If it’s a liquid £100 million injection then, with amortisation, it can represent the price of entry to much more significant investment.

I think it will be really obvious if things have changed. If we go out and buy Wharton/Semenyo, we would be targeting a different profile of player.

I remain unconvinced, but we’ll see.

We will not know for some time as change takes time. However we no longer have Levy who is a part owner no longer controlling everything including Transfer negotiations and Executives paid to do the job that have previous experience elsewhere. They will have to perform as it is easier to replace them than it was Levy.
As to the ownership that changed a couple of years ago but it is only now that different members of the Lewis family have taken control. Will they be any better? only time will tell but Levy going is a major change.

Not sure about 2008, but 2022 was for a bigger ownership share, and the cost of the stake valued the club at around the ~£4bn mark if all of the shares went for that sort of cash.

So I'd say it was to inflate value, paving the way for a sale, before changing their minds of course.

Their actions suggest they didn't rate the job Levy has been doing and believe they could do better.

Actions speak louder than words.

Everyone deserves an opportunity.

However; the nature of the state Spurs are in means we have to keep an eye on what happens in the short term.

Spurs need to sign top players and pay top wages.

If that doesn't start to happen then ENIC will go the same way as Levy.

Only took them 24 years to come to that conclusion.
