Uuuggghhhh no levy was a parasite, but he was an employed parasite.....enic are and always have been responsible and need to fuck off.. I have never changed from that and have been saying since levy left, enic are still here so nothing has changed..
This has become so predictable and poisonous that I no longer watch the games, or watch very little of any football. .....
Due to the feeling that there's no point and why keep going back to the same old shit everytime.. .
If your wife cheated on you over abd over again, but kept saying sorry.. eventually you snap and realise that you should have got rid of her and her vile shit. .and you just kept letting her do this to you...so I got rid of it and when I see our results..I'm not surprised because this is what always happens, every fucking year... ..
I agree with you mate

jan window will be telling, if they go out and spend 150 then fair enough, if not then its going to be the same old shit.

semenyo should be number 1 target, then we need an actual footballer for the middle of the park, a striker too, which probably wont happen this window anyway as we have muani and solanke to come back.

probably needs to be more like 200m.

What's the more convenient thing to do:
  • To spend an unprecedented amount of money in January, and/or poach a currently employed manager to try to salvage something from a season that'll most likely be done and dusted by then anyway, even with this incredibly congested table.
or
  • Let Frank and these players plod around for a mid-table finish that could be construed as an improvement over the previous league campaign, and reassess the situation in the summer
There's your answer as to what they'll actually do.

Prefer we just send Muani back and just play any of Scarlett/Williams-Barnett or something. Can see more net positives that way.

I've only ever defended the good work that Levy has done.
Wow Seriously GIF

So it will be the same old shit then, because that is not going to happen..never has and never will

well, youd like to think the sacking of levy was a shift in how we operate, we will see. of course it feels like it wont change, its been the same old shit for 25 years, something eventually has to give tho, surely....

if they dont come out swinging hard in jan, we might as well just accept the clubs going nowhere, no point giving it your time.

Very true, some of us have already done that mate...we all know what's coming..
A leopard never changes its spots or something along those lines...

Levy was here when we appointed this manager, bought these players. what we’re seeing is Levy and ENIC’s work.

Sigh

People keep saying this but the board have kept the people who have bought this players in place, Lange and Paratici are still here, they also aren't letting Levy hire the manager only to sack him 2 months after he's hired, please get real.

The whole thing is on ENIC and until they're gone we need to accept the same thing.

No season should be wasted. We can still finish top 5 and the FA Cup hasn't started. Sack him now and get a proper manager in

But Daniel Levy is one third of ENIC, and for 25 years was the face of ENIC implementing their strategy at the football club. Yet you've defended him like a madman since you joined this forum. 😆

I think you're struggling to make up your mind on who is actually to blame, it's almost as if you realise that Daniel wasn't the core issue of our problems and are doing anything to deflect form the truth especially since you admitted this the other day.

It's a madness bringing in someone like Frank and then deciding we are ready to back the manager in the window. He's like a rabbit in headlights.

It's just so typical of Spurs. Why couldn't we have backed Poch or Conte when they had their teams punching above their weight and 2 or 3 signings away from competing on all fronts!

It's so frustrating. Sounds like the owners are finally willing to invest in the squad and now we have a manager who clearly doesn't know how to manage a top team and play on the front foot.

Agree with the first two paragraphs.
No hard evidence regarding your final paragraph until January has been and gone though.

Each time poch was 'backed' the team got worse.

People use "backed" to mean "did what I, as a fan, wanted" or some kind of ultimate/dream scenario no manager gets. What people don't see is he was backed, and was given a lot of free reign to do what he wanted, and he used that power to (attempt to) masturbate himself figuratively towards a better job. Exactly the same outcome old 'Arry achieved.

Didn't levy get the sack after the transfer window closed...

So... No one has been able to do anything...

So we are getting what we wished for. No more of this shit, and it's going to take years to fix.

Is anyone still, really, with a straight face suggesting that:
  1. Daniel Levy was actually scouting, selecting, or otherwise picking players, and
  2. The Lewis Family decided to oust him on a whim and not have been planning this since Vinai and Charrington were moved in
  3. That they would let DL spend over £300m in transfers and contracts of his own volition, knowing they were going to push him out?

There's a certain point where confirmation bias has to meet reality and common sense.
