Give him & his DoF pal full authority over all football matters...they decide who from the current 1st team squad can go fuck themselves. Some other player wants to have a pop on their socials, at the fans etc...back Xabi and send the mug to destination fucked. Rinse & repeat til we've got guys ready to die for the badge & fans.
Let Xabi bring in someone who's gonna sort our academy so we can finally produce proper talent on the regular...and we can stop signing 19yo unknowns from Brazil.

The thing is we got a proper manager and we wanted to compete it’s just a matter of time , we have so much leeway with FFP we could literally give them the keys to the castle and compete for years to come , obviously it’s not that straight forward but the stadium was meant to make us into that club, sadly we are being run to make money from the stadium and not to try and win trophies for our fans!
Maybe not the best idea though to give the keys to a guy that would abscond off to Liverpool the moment they showed interest in him tbh.
Would have been the same issue if - in some weird alternative timeline - we hired Steven Gerrard and he did really well here.

The thing is you could insert any successful manager / head-coach who's any good Enrique/Flick/Zerbi etc into your breakdown.

They were in for Semenyo. We signed Gallagher and Souza already for £50m combined. We spent a fortune in the summer on Pahlina, Xavi, Kudus and Muani who are all established players. Enic only lost out on Mbuemo because he had his heart set on United.
Things do look like they are changing. The problem is Spurs were so far behind already, and the injuries to Madisson, Kulu, Solanke and now Kudus is devastating.
If we can get a couple of attacking players through the door its a great window.
People like Bergvall, Gray, Kinsky, Tel, Odobert etc have no business being anywhere near the first team right now. They need to go on loan and establish themselves.
Then the injury prone and plain crap need to be shifterd. Dragusin, Davies, Bentancur, Richarlison, Solanke.
Its a huge rebuilding job ahead. But for the price of tickets, people demand success now, not in 2 years. I cant blame them.

We have a better squad overall than we are playing or in league position. I think the main issue other than the crazy injuries is alignment between coach and players. Frank just isn’t Spurs we have gone from an over stubborn attacking manager to an over stubborn defensive one.
I dont think we do. Ok the style is questionable. But the quality IMO is poor.
The midfield is non existent. The forwards couldnt hit a barn door, or play 2 consecutive games.
The bench devoid of anything useful.
Our best players are constantly injured. VDV, Udogie, Romero, Kulu, Madisson.
It needs a full reset. And thats not a 1 window job.
Also, the reason why the best players are injured all the time is because they play too much. They never get rested. If they are fit, they play every game. I cant remember Spurs ever having a 22. At best its a good 11 plus 5 or 6. At worst, its completely shit like now.
