That idea from CFT was poor & flawed from the start. But their heart is in the right place and they're fighting for the club. The disrespect they get from some on & off TFC is disgraceful.

i totally respect the CFT guys and hope they do not give up. The set up today was difficult for any type of gain inside the stadium. It is hard to ask fans, who in big parts are not aware of the CFT calls, to abandon such high intensity match.

CFT need to spend some time educating and growing the fan awareness of the terminal ills of the club due to the worst ownership a club can have. fans grew statisfied bowing down to the like of ManC, Arse, Liverpool and celebrate drawing with them as if we were the West Ham or Burnley.

WE DID NOT WIN PEOPLE, WE DROPPED TWO POINTS AT HOME AND I DO NOT CARE WHO WE WERE FACING.

It was 2-2 at the 75th minute and we were looking more likely than city at that point to scoring a potential winner and you're criticising fans for not leaving?!?
The planned walkout was a terrible idea. The only way it could work was if we were getting hammered otherwise why would fans leave during the game with something still to play for?!?

Blame the organisers of the protest not the fans.

keep writing it, the season ticket folks are there, they can make the differance
I don't expect them to miss the game or lose their season ticket
but
they can attend any protect before the game
sing songs supporting the players
sing songs against the manager and/or the board

other clubs supporters make their feels know in the ground (aka liverpool,ManU,)
You do indeed keep writing it but refuse to say what you're doing? Or is it someone else's job? I believe last time you were shopping, was it Primark again this week?

I dont actually blame fans for this because it wa bad timing but it just goes hand in hand with the other times fans have failed to back their talk in the protests.

Fans failed to get involved because the timing of them has been terrible.
They planned a protest early this window because of a lack of transfers and within 2 days of that announcement we signed Gallagher so that then made them look like petulant children.

When has a mass walk out actually happened?! Pool fans did it in 2016 against Sunderland but they were winning 2 nil at time so easier to get people to do it. Also that was one big protest not like the organisers of this one who want one every few weeks.

I'm all for people wanting change and trying what they can to get it but they have to be smarter about it and also can't criticise fans for not doing what they want when their strategy isn't right & the lack of engagement shows it isn't right.

Just sick of this narrative that fans are somehow the problem. Get a coherent and well thought out & timed protest and people will join it. If not then it's back to the few hundred people outside the club shop half of which will have new spurs gear in a bag

Its the most effective way to protest but the hardest to pull off, depends on the fanbase.

We're an apathetic lot, self deprecating and like to wallow in self pity rather than actually cause carnage and do anything about it, the only fanbase who have successfully walked out in England as far as u know are Liverpool fans.
It’s a shit tactic partly beacause of apathy I agree . However match circumstances play a part. I suspect if we were 4 nil down on 75 mins and looking like it was going to be 6 a few would have gone . I would have probably joined in , pissing down with rain, getting battered , hate the owners , think the manager needs to go , terrible football in the first half and all season , it’s the perfect storm . Instead we put in one of our better performances in the second half and no way was I not staying .

I never leave early for the sake of it but as part of a protest I would , but it needs the above to align otherwise I’m sticking it out . I suspect many feel the same so fans can’t be relied on , well I know I can’t be relied on .

Respectfully this is nonsense, protests aren't meant to be convenient or cozy, there shouldn't be any excuse as for as timing is concerned because if you really want to make a change you make time.

Besides all this protests were planned before West Ham and City and barely anyone turned up, how is that down to bad timing, when should the protest take place in that case?

If fans failed to attend a protest because we signed Conor Gallagher then they're either protesting for the wrong reasons or they're easily pacified.

Always an excuse with this fanbase, make all the noise online but when it comes to actuslly standing up the fans are found wanting yet again.

I can only imagine that the reason for the dramatic turnaround today was that the players are on here during the week, and all knew BEFOREHAND about the planned walkout, and so timed the comeback precisely on 70 minutes to help avoid it happening 5 minutes later...

It's quite Brilliant when you think about it! :frankthink: :solankefacepalm:
You jest but on a serious note they will be aware. Neville mentioned it in comms.

Whether they cared or not is another matter.

Where I sit nowhere near the south stand amonst the same St's who turn up for every match to support the team , none of them knew anything about any demo yesterday, many fans don't do twitnews , follow fan forums or listen to pundits rambling on but they do come into their seats clutching drinks, food and programmes.

THEN THEY'RE THE PROBLEM!!!
ST+DRINKS, FOOD AND PROGRAMMES. = That's gotta be around £150-200 per game each!

Perhaps the only acquisition we will announce today will be something like a new marketing executive to work closely with the board and club hierarchy - which in the next 5-10 years could see us comfortably be generating an extra £700k a season.

Think of the benefits this will bring to the footballing side of things in the 2040s.

Big announcement at 6pm today

It will be the hotel getting permission for another floor to be added and the san Francisco fentanyls will be playing the Jacksonville homeless in a game of rounders

This bunch of jokers did notr need more than one window to prove they are not serious about taking us forward. They are actually worse than Levy and I thought that was impossible.
Yeah in the spirit of fairness i thought give them until the end of the summer to see if they could back up their big talking PR. Really grateful they've made it so obvious its more of the same thin gruel that it only took less than a month to know they're talking bollocks.
