No need to wait for the summer. The excuse is already set and it goes by the line that it is a World Cup year and all major talent are busy with their national teams (or on vacation after taking part with their NT in the WC), therefore, difficult to do business.

Expect 2-3 kids signed and loaned though.

World Cup year, no European football, big squad so sell before we buy. Its all ready to go.

Can we all agree that walkouts are a nonsense strategy?

Completely agree - if you don't like the ownership then you have to find a way of protesting them without affecting the team.. If everyone walked out on the 75th minute yesterday we might not draw that game and just get dragged further into a relegation scrap.

I think the majority of the players (and Frank) are putting in the effort in to turn the season around, it's just that Frank and the players brought in aren't good enough, and that's on the owners / club directors more than anything.

You miss the point of a walkout, it’s meant to affect the team because there’s no direct line to the owners. The only language they ever really notice is embarrassment, poor optics, and noise around the club. If the stands look empty and the atmosphere’s dead that’s when it actually registers higher up.

That's the most extreme way possible without actually inflicting any sort of violence but as I said it's difficult with this fanbase - our fans don't have the balls for it nor do they want it enough.

But a walk out is only going to a have a negative effect on the players surely? I'm with the rest I think the ownership have been negligent for years, but I still want us to do well on the pitch no matter the circumstances surrounding the club..

That's how you get the message across to them as it puts pressure on them not just from the fans but from the team and the players and the media coverage puts the spotlight firmly on the board because nothing says more than disgruntled fans than them walking out the ground after they've paid a lot of money to see their team play, it's generally not a good look.

Liverpool did this a few years back by the way because FSG put ticket prices up, the fans walked out and their opponents equalised...it worked because they ended up reducing the price of the tickets.

Fair enough, probably agree to disagree on this one.. however that being said i'd be a lot more inclined to agree with you if we were sitting comfortably in the top 6 at this moment in time.

I think at this point in the season we need every point we can get because last year was already far too close for comfort.

You're right there, now isn't really the best time to do it, should have been done a few months back and whenever standards are slipping, this fanbase ought to be doing all it can to keep these owners in check and everytime we slip out the half of the table it should get alarm bells ringing.

In the last 15 minutes:
1- I inquired about Alkioche through an email I sent to Monaco FC. (Inquiry sent)
2- I communicated with Juventus about Vlahovic availability through email. (Communication sent)
3- I contacted Bayern Munich through email about Goretzka. (Contact made).
4- I scouted Crystal Palace forward Mateta through Youtube vidos. (Scouted)
5- I registered interest in Fulham's Wilson upon hearing of Everton interest by sending an email. (Interest Registered)

Can someone tell me, why Lange and ENIC as a whole get all the millions for work they claim to spend months doing, when I did it in 15 minutes????????

The only suprise about this window is that we are all suprised they did nothing...
