It is so weird.
We are hiring a bunch of City Group people to come in and restructure the club so there's clearly at least someone within the house that has some sort of idea of what the football operation should be. But the board seems to be collectively scared to act or lazy.
I think a window this negligent has got to be a sure sign that the club is subject to takeover, because I cannot fathom a world where this is intentioned strategy to protect the teams interest

Even if they're holding out for what they consider is a good offer and are refusing to go beyond the bare minimum in terms of investment to the squad in the meantime, that's a very dangerous game that could set us back many years.
