It may finally be time to admit that things probably won't change in many of our lifetimes. The Lewis family is showing themselves to be a less competent version of Levy. Worse still, there's more of them and we can't be sure which of them is calling the shots.

Makes Levy seems like he does know football after all.

These gobshites Vinai and Lewises are fucking lying businessmen and women. Just sell up and cunt off. I hope the day this happens, this company and past ownership of anyone related to them will be erased from whatever indicated in the club and stadium.

Levy would never have got Gallagher that early on in the window. He was the apex Mr. Jan 31st haggler. The only player I can think of that he grabbed early in recent years was Kinsky. And he was hopeless at getting rid of players.

He should release a board game called Recruitment. Choose to play as Daniel Levy and dinner guests will want to jump off the balcony by midnight.

We got Ange players reasonably early in his first season. That was unusual at the time too.

Yeah, barring unforeseeable miracles I don't expect Spurs will compete for top honours in the coming three or four decades. I'd love to see us get back to where we should be imo which is among the 'best of the rest' and winning a few cups here and there. FA, Europa, League Cup, I'd love any of them.

Vinai laid down a marker with his public statements. All well and good, he should be communicating more to the fan base. The risk in that communication is that if you don't follow through with actions you appear to be Daniel Levy 2.0. In some ways he's worse, because he has been cynical enough to say those things and then leave a badly shorthanded squad and manager without help. So, what now? Well, it will start with Frank having to defend what can't be defended. Where it should go is with Vinai and Lange answering the presses questions, but I don't think that will happen.

He also stinks of Woolwich

I've said it several times on here over recent months that ENIC 2.0 have made new owner mistakes by leaking stuff about previous "owner", how they want to win more, will be aggressive in transfer market and put in 100m ahead of window.

Now the window has closed and despite the fact we have 1 win in 9 league games, 14th in league, another massive injury crisis and Frank saying we would be active we have signed 1 first team player.

ENIC will find out now what likes of Cardiffs, Hull and Blackburn owners found after making similar mistakes and that is if you over promise and fail miserably to deliver then fans will turn and will turn hard.

Atmosphere at WHL is going to be very toxic for them and they damn well deserve it

This 100m figure is funny... it's like it's the cure to all our ill's when in all honesty it's not even one top draw player if you include wages.

Feels like with ENIC 2.0 we’re just going to have to sit back and watch it burn down around us, and sadly I think I’ve made peace with that…..in the hope the club can cleanse itself from them. Then perhaps a proper rebuild can take place, of not just the team but the entire structure. As it stands, our current pathway is paved with nothing but lies, broken promises, cleverly placed media statements and whatever other scraps they throw us to keep us submissive, while they dine at the top table on our coin.

ENIC are the custodians of the club, and as Custodians they should have a responsibility towards the fans. They do not seem to realise that, it is arguably true they have never cared for such an obligation.

For 25 years, the money and influence from THFC has been used to enhance the personal wealth of a few, at the expense of the football success that the many expected to see.

In their time owning our club, it’s gone from the heartbeat to a subsidiary of something much bigger, that none of us care much about. Watch how quickly our pictures are removed from the Tavistock website, when the cup sits elsewhere.

It is fair comment that under ENIC we have seen our clubs standards drop dramatically. While we can point to a 4 year period under Poch, what else has been achieved other than ridiculous decisions and subjecting the fan base to ridicule? The days of being considered the best of the rest are far in the rear window now. We are currently worse in the league than when ENIC came in, 25 years and worse…

“Lads it’s Tottenham” came about under ENIC. And they didn’t give a shit. We now live with a soft underbelly and a public profile that gets dented at every single opportunity. If there is a mistake to make, they make it.

The only reason the ship hasn’t sunk yet is the history and the fan base, and that there are often worse than us. But they have lost the core fan base and our history is now that of also rans, a generation accepts this is as good as it gets, Stockholm syndrome.

Yes a cup every 18 years is positive, but at every point of success, when there was a chance to build, they demolished and assumed they had done enough. Who follows up a league cup win and a new manager appointment by selling Keane and Berbatov in the very next window ?

Who finishes 17th, on merit, wins a cup, but then fails to address the reasons why we finished 17th because of the cup win. My point is that irrespective of the decade, these wankers will always apply the handbrake to ensure maximum value with minimal outlay.

What’s different this window ? In fairness, not a lot. We didn’t go through the usual Levy shit at the last seconds. For us no Dybala this time around. That’s all that is different. They didn’t miss out at the last moment. As they didn’t even try this time around.

January a hard window ? Any of us go to work, moan about it being a really difficult job and get any sympathy? The job is to improve each and every window. Improve does not mean that unless we sign the next Bale it’s going to disappoint, improve means actually having enough adults to put a match day squad out. We don’t currently have that !!!

The squad was not good enough in August. It’s got WORSE since and the reaction was 1 player added. Fair enough he is a good player, but is he what we needed or was it optimistic ?

Anyways, ENIC do not care. Zach Bryan is along soon enough, Guns and Roses next summer ?

Those of us who know enough about the Levy family business approach have long understood how they negotiate.

In the end, I sense he burnt his bridges all over Europe. But make no mistake about it, he was/is an intelligent guy, who after 25 years knew how Spurs ran, not how football runs there are differences.

His later years obsession with the likes of Brighton and Brentford has turned Tottenham towards those levels at a dangerous pace, and he needed to be course corrected urgently.

However, the shady timing of Levy’s axing and what’s happened since gives no comfort that the new regime ( which is not new at all ) have had a change of heart and direction and were course correcting.

And along the way they have forgotten they were the custodians, hubris is blinding them and all that leaked out shit about the Lewis Kids and Vini etc. is absolutely disrespectful to our fans.

I detest what we are under this ownership, but I still care, which perhaps is my flaw as much as theirs, they don’t want me to care after all, we are but client reference numbers.
