Matt Law looks just like the chinless wonder I imagined he would be!

The fans should sing ENIC OUT in every game from now on. They are a cancer.
Both the fans and players are in a position of power here because if they really wanted, they could maintain a toxic atmosphere for rest of year which gets us relegated.
It's the risk of holding onto a loss making business that could force them to sell cheap.Wishful thinking hoping they'll move on if we go down. They're not going to sell at that point when they're getting low ball offers because we're in the clarts. They'll want to maximise the sale price and that isnt coming with championship football.
You could if you think we are genuinely a shower of shit. Or you might take a view that 2 years of having half the squad out injured coupled with some bizarre circumstances and decision making has taken it's toll. The club needs a major reset but next season will give us that opportunity. With just a domestic schedule you can make a concerted effort to really cull the squad of those not up to Poch's standards. I say Poch as I think this is now the most likely outcome. We might also have some improved luck with injuries. You could argue being in that bracket is way better than what we are now![]()
It was a typo in the minutes from the meeting, this was the actual print:-
The main issue with any potential sale is that the football club is tied to a plethora of associated businesses and properties all built and acquired off our back..It's the risk of holding onto a loss making business that could force them to sell cheap.
The problem is, I don't think these idiots have enough foresight to see the potential losses of not coming straight back up and pushing on as soon as we do.
They really do seem totally unaware of our plight, or how they have left us here.
It would only be loss making due to the wage bill though, and that would be slashed. It's the risk of holding onto a loss making business that could force them to sell cheap.

It would make a huge loss not having PL tv money or any feasible way to qualify for Europe while we're down there. It would only be loss making due to the wage bill though, and that would be slashed.
Realistically we would have a massive fanbase by Champo standards and most likely would re-build and be back up in one or two years. A good coach and winning matches would fill the ground. Albeit revenue would be vastly lower. There isn't really a precedent for a club like us going down, so for the neutral it would be very interesting and enjoyable.

Our wages are under 50% of our earnings. Imagine if our earnings suddenly dipped by 75% with no PL or European income.

Yes, but what I'm saying is there would be a fire sale of highly paid, relatively high value players. It would make a huge loss not having PL tv money or any feasible way to qualify for Europe while we're down there.

Sadly , I’d go with the former , I think , mostly due to being starved of a lot of talent , we over romanticise injured players . I remember Mads being inconsistent, Deki & Bentancur too , we talked of getting Solanke back as if was some kind of world beater . I’m not saying we’d be in the same position if all the players were back but I don’t think we’d be much higher than 10th.You could if you think we are genuinely a shower of shit. I think that is a fair assumption... when we have reached the depths of despair, only then do we look up and see the light of hope or in our case injured players who we generally ragged on. Same with Sonny. People forget he was generally awful last season and had one good game against Elfsborg. But you have at least been balanced in the argument and accepted things would be slightly better. We would both love to be in 10th right now... the planning at this club is always reactive. Even the Bale money we generally wasted. Only really Eriksen was much cop and maybe Lamela at a push. We should have invested the Kane money far better too. To compete you need 7 or 8 out of 10 new buys to work out. Unfortunately we are operating around 2 or 3 out of 10 and that is why we are in the shit.Sadly , I’d go with the former , I think , mostly due to being starved of a lot of talent , we over romanticise injured players . We’ve had ample time to prepare and plan for the loss of Harry & Sonny , we didn’t , instead replacing them with relegated players or some not fit to lace their boots which I also think has affected the mentality of the players left, it’s a downward trajectory which we are seeing now.

Well these fuckers are finally feeling the "squeaky bum" pressure .
Have sat on this club for decades and smugly counted their money , never having to worry about the golden swan dying , well the reality is starting to kick in and their arses are stuck to the seats , their screaming , but nothing is coming out and nobody would listen even if there was .
I hope they are absolutely shitting themselves .
