Only way to fix it is kill it with fire.

Imagine thinking you’re doing a good job , even if you take out the footballing side when you’re running the risk of wiping £2b off the whole things value 😂

WeWork levels of incompetence

I posted this in 2022 in a warning to a post about their lack of ambition...Schalke are still there in the second tier of German football BTW

I remember Schalke were riding high in the bundesliga and qualifying for the champions league regularly in the 2000s and were then lauded for the brand new stadium (with retractable pitch). Now where are they? Nowhere after years of mismanagement.

We will be able to compete when we get regular CL
We will be able to compete when the stadium is finished
We will be able to compete when the extra money from sponsorship deals happen
We will be able to compete when we win a European trophy

We will be able to compete if we stay up.

Yes, that's right. Well, it is a cash injection, but ENIC get something for it. Though not much. 0.7% at a £3bn valuation is £20m odd. So you could say they've injected £80m for nothing. The implied valuation of the whole enterprise is far too high. So I guess they didn't want Daniel to challenge it.

When ENIC were to invest £150m into the club in 2022 (it ended up being £100m IIRC) anyway the new issue shares then was at a higher value than ordinary shares.

''The most recent (26/05/22) auction for THFC shares set a price of £2.10, albeit at very low volumes, and compares with the implied £4.66 price set by the new issue.''

So this new share issue that apparently occurred in October 2025 of 13.5m shares to raise £100m, could be at a higher value than the majority of shares in the club. Meaning ENIC could have bought 13,5m shares to increase their stake by 0.71% for more than the standard price, just like they did in 2022.

Therefore it could be that the £100m cash injection in October 2025 was all from purchasing these new issue shares and ENIC haven't actually spent their own money in the club, it's just more investment.

I don't know really but I just can't trust these investors to splash their own cash, when they can simply issue shares and value them as they want because the club has increased in value, as long as they get approval from the board and shareholders, with the proceeds going into the club?

I suppose it would mean the minority shareholders lose a little of their stake but they see the club having additional funds for the squad in addition as the club increases in value, so does the value of the minority investor's stake, even though it's at a lower % than their original investment.

Quality forward is a bit of a stretch... this is his second season and he has started less than half our PL games (31/65) so availability is a concern. But if we put that to one side, the evidence suggests he is a 1 in 3 type of forward (11 goals in 31 + 6 games) which when you consider he takes penalties isn't particularly good for a club of our stature. You want your main forward to be minimum 1 in 2 guy which I don't think he will ever be. Like most of our players I can understand the defence... he's not had a run, he hasn't had any service, 3 coaches in 2 seasons and so on. We probably overpaid, he's decent but not great and if we are to aspire to be a top side again we need an upgrade.

He's a 1 in 3 when he's in a shit team TBF. In a decent team he should be better

We saw what it looked like when Son was in the team, and we know he's capable of more than he looked in his last season. I think a lot of people thought it was decline, but it was just what it looks like when you're in a team playing scruffy football tbh

A lot of a stretch.

Massively overpaid.

The rest is spot on.

The simple fact is Enic run Spurs, very successfully, as a business and not as a football club.

Understand how much David Murray fucked over Enic and Levy.

They really haven’t run it well as a business , they’ve run it as parasites. All debt of infrastructure is on THFC , not ENIC , not Tavistock .

If we were to get relegated, this season or any other The Championship has rulings like
Profitability and Sustainability which allows no more than a £15m loss per season , can you imagine Vini going to the meeting he would have to attend to the EFL & explaining how he’s going to do that with our players wages , loss of sponsors , TV rights etc ?

They have fucked us r over hugely

ENIC can PR all they like about increasing budgets, the facts are they have incompetent people in key positions at the club who will simply waste the budget

Bit like ENIC doing up a well run pub and inviting mad Jack mclafferty, the local
Homeless piss head in to run it
The number of last chances and excuses some put up for them is wild. Calling them "new owners", insisting they've "changed".

I was fairly supportive of them until around 2019, so I'm not some dyed in the wool ENIC hater. But it's clear that on-field success will never be a priority, there's no drive to be the best at the one thing we're all here for.

January was a disgrace.

But...this is about to stop. They think we are just anchor tenants and that Beyonce will save them. But if every other week the place is near empty for games against Birmingham and Bolton they will feel it.
Of course they will, but do you honestly think it will happen.

Football is mostly emotion over common sense and reality. How many will say "oh I'm not renewing my season ticket" only to renew with the standard buzzwords and phrases "journey...... Rebirth...... True supporters stick with the team

We have a management running a profitable business, not a football club, our supporters are mostly giddy happy clapping sheep, not demanding objective fans and our first team squad are a disgrace. All need to change

Season tickets would drop and rightly so. I suspect the crowds would bounce back to capacity pretty quickly if we start well but why would you pay them upfront? No need. There were tickets available at the weekend for Sunday
