Makes no sense to see the club sinking toward relegation and think yeah Connor Gallagher will do it

And then put him on the wing

We have 8 international players , 10 if you include Richie and Davies . You think they’ll be happy with Championship footie ? Not only would it potentially destroy their international careers but reduce their value

Anyways we’ll beat Palace and this won’t be an immediate issue 😊

Do you think we were happy paying Ndombele his wages when he retired on us? Contract is a contract, if the club put their foot down there isn’t anything that can be done. Contacts protect the players but also protect the club. Unless someone pays what a player is worth they stay.

Or there is a clause in the contract that allows it to be broken at relegation, which is something that is quite common in hockey. But this doesn't seem to be the case for us we have the standard wage cuts in case of relegation.

That being said if we go down there are bound to be agents and players working to get transfers done out of the club and the club will probably be happy to offload a good amount of players as well.

We were not it the current predicament of relegation then . He was never handing in a transfer request , who was that player at Chelsea ? Boogart? Just happily sat there getting his wages . This is a never before seen scenario IF we were to go down. International players wouldn’t want to be here

Levy to be fair wouldn’t do that. He never puts in release clauses as it takes away his negotiating power.

That’s all nice but it doesn’t work like that unless there is a release clause then it’s up to the club to sell if they get an acceptable offer. I would be shocked if Levy put relegation release clauses in.

At the end of the day , if the players don’t want to be there it would be detrimental to the club to keep them . We’re kind of seeing that already . Reminds me of the Grant era at the Chavs . Regardless on contractual obligations players have the power to dictate how the clubs does.

Have we ever kept a player who wants out long term ? Players like Kane , Modric , Berbatov went and we were still in the prem. Going to the championship is a total different animal . In my opinion of course

I was dead against Middle Eastern money, but I’ve really had it with ENIC.

Being realistic any billionaire purchaser is likely to be a wanker in one way or another and trodden on people to make their money so not sure we can be overly fussy.

Finding a billionaire that isn't a total cunt is like finding a traffic warden that isn't.

Most of them are trolls and on my ignore list.
If they refuse to change their vote and are not already on my ignore list, they will be soon.

Contrarians are irritating fuckwits.
Why the outrage about a few dozen strangers that probably just don’t think it matters if they change their vote? Or haven’t logged in for a year?

Do you think ENIC have an eye on the poll and will sell if it hits a low of 20 in?
