Werner is not the standard we need but he leaves Johnson out there every fucking game basically who doesn't even attack his full back - I think Werner at least drags a defence out of shape a bit and tries tbf to him!

After tonight I’m glad he outed Werner. That was a disgrace of a performance. He gave the ball away 6 out his first 7 touches! Everyone around me was losing their shit not just because of that but because he won’t play with any fight or life in him.
Fucking embarrassment to our club. Front three all utterly weak with nothing about them.

There’s a few other that need a kick up the arse too. Tonight was hard to watch as they deserved to beat us.

On a side note,the noise when Rangers scored was incredible and the atmosphere for about 5 mins after was top notch. Was good to give them it back when we scored because their fans are mutants!

The actual quote is a polar opposite of what he said tonight and doesn't remotely constitute as calling him out:

“We are talking to Timo constantly,” Postecoglou said.

“We understand he is lacking some confidence at the moment and everyone has been working hard at that, but with all these things, ultimately it’s incumbent on him to use as much support he’s got around here to get himself out of it.

“Our role in that is to provide that support whether that’s internally or externally, whatever he needs. Obviously it’s then up to him to try to use that to get him back to the levels where he wants to be and where he can contribute for us."

He looked bright when he came on but not a stunning cameo. Better than bissouma, bentancour yes, the senior midfielders were terrible. From the comments you’d think he assisted a couple and scored a worldy. At the end of the day it’s fucking rangers and it should be a big win. The more senior players who started let themselves down but I just don’t understand the bergval hyperbole

Ive been all for ange the first 16 months. Ive a massive findness for Celtic being Irish. I was excited when he came. But no improvement. No change. Weve been barely scraping by shit teams in this EL. That team tonight should be wiping one of the worst scum teams off the face of the earth.
It should be coming from top down. Players have given up

Son was no better, constantly gives the ball away, not even going to discuss Bissouma and his lack of discipline.

Yep, I thought with the Ange Celtic connection the players would have been fired up and all over them early doors. After the first minute there was no fight, no pressing against a team that struggle to dominate league 2 standard players at Ibrox in the league. Rangers wouldn’t win the championship and they outplayed us. What has happened to Udogie under lapping in the box? We’ve lost all attacking threat which was the positive under early Ange and kept the defensive fragility. It’ll be a 11th place finish and no cups if it stays as is.

Rangers away. Dragusin, an overplayed Porro, undercooked Udogie and an 18 year old midfielder for our back line, a half-asleep attack and fuck knows how many Scottish lunatics chanting. But fuck it. We didn't lose. Naff but not exactly armageddon.

Can't say it's made me confident we're winning this competition though.

I actually think we were excellent right up until the Palace game. Some results didn't go our way, but we were the better team in every game. We outplayed Woolwich, Leicester, Brighton and Newcastle - but were let down by individual errors.

Yes, our form has fallen off a cliff - but injuries to our 2 starting Center Backs (who have NOT been over played) has contributed to that.

- Bissouma hasn't stepped up. Statistically, one of the best DM's in the game, but hes not showing it.
- Porro and Udogie are both very poor with positioning off the ball when defending; and are both terrible at blocking crosses. Coaching style or ability? Porro was also rubbish at defending in Conte's defensive system.

The fixture congested Xmas period could now get messy. We now have 5 games in 2 weeks. Game against Saints at weekend will be crucial get 3 points,.
