Match Europa League - 12th December - Rangers (A) 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I would go Forster, Porro, Drag, VDV, Udogie, Bentancur, Kulu, Maddison, BJ, Solanke, Son.

As strong as possible, very attacking and try to overpower them from the off. We can shut them up big time if we can get a couple of goals in front. Then sit back and strangle the life out of it and hit them on the break

Rangers won’t bully us no matter who we play in midfield. If we play younger players it’s only the atmosphere that might affect them. I think start strong as we can and see where it takes us.
Honestly can’t wait for this one.

This is probably their biggest game of the season , , not because they’ll do anything in the cup but it’s against an English team .. What they lack in actual talent they’ll try to make up with physicality . If players like Diomande & Raskin start , I think we’ll know their intentions plus the crowd will be well up for it

It'll be ugly scenes at iBrokes

Things you can absolutely guarantee from Rangers:

Low block.
Ultra-physicality & aggression.
Bypassing the midfield.

None of these things we handle particularly well.

The funny thing is that if you go on Rangers’ forums ; they’re dreading playing us ; even citing Brennan Johnson as a player who could shred them apart.

So much for the wisdom and insight of the intelligentsia who post their supposed informed views on these sort of places…..

In all honesty I suspect only the home-crowd and an absolute shitshow from us will cause us problems on Thursday.

PS : I’m not saying it’s impossible that we’ll lose .

One of my US clients today: "Hey, you think we could do that conf call with the new guys around 7pm (UK time) on Thurs as opposed to Friday? Probably will be 2 to 3 hours, time to go over everything. Sorry if it's a bit last-minute and I know you usually can't do Thursdays."

Me: "Yes, no probs, I got nothing on."

Ok, so you're not a Spurs fan.

Makes sense. o_O

I don't wanna hear any crap about the Ange / Scotland thing being a factor........

..............If an NLD is "just another game" according to the gaffa then all that shit is moot.

Trust me : it would be the Kevin Keegan “ I’d love it “ moment of the year for many of these fair-minded Rangers fans come Thursday night. I’d find it difficult to believe you don’t understand that .
