Simple question - who do you fancy?

Most of you don’t seem to think Ange cuts the mustard.

But have a vote. Let’s see who knows their European onions.

I seem to have attracted the positivity posters to this thread.

Overwhelming support for Tottenham Hotspur. Lovely to see some self belief in our fanbase.

Only 2 “others”. But if anyone wants a specific team added then let me know. I just picked the 8 seeded teams as options.

Over 2 legs I am confident we will beat anyone in the tournament. My concern is a one off, high pressure game in the final, where we could lose to almost anyone.

I think Bilbao have a cracking chance. Roma are no great shakes, then Rangers or Fenerbahce before a semi against either Socieadad or Lyon. The final is in their home stadium so for me they have outstanding chance and the incentive of a final at home. Get your money on Roma...

Not us.
We'll find a way.

Well these are the 7 teams who can stop us reaching the final.

AZ Alkmaar, Eintracht Frankfurt, Ajax, Bodo/Glimt, Olympiacos, Viktoria Plzen or Lazio.

Out of those 7 teams 4 were in the Europa conference league last season. A competition that according to the majority on here (not me) is below us and full of teams not fit to lace our boots

Only 1 team of the 7 was in the CL last season. Got knocked out in the last 16.

2 started in the Europa league. Both were a bit shit though.

Although one of them won the Europa conference league after being knocked out of the Europa league in the group stage by -checks notes- West Ham.
The other then got absolutely battered by Aston Villa in the ECL.

And 1 team out of 8 wasn’t in Europe at all.

Guess they are the true underdogs here. Outside bet.

Funny old game isn’t it!!!!

We've already seen how volatile this team is. In the context of a given match we can get played off the park by pretty much any team long enough for them to cause irreversible damage. I'm speaking of conceding multiple goals in a half here.

We conceded 2 or more in a single half against teams such as Everton, Leicester, Brighton, Ipswich, Newcastle, Hoffenheim and Galatasaray this season. In one of those halves we might end up digging ourselves a hole impossible to get out of, two legged format notwithstanding.

Frankfurt, Lazio, Bilbao are high up in their respective leagues, but there are no huge teams in this competition. Guess we have a chance, but it also wouldn't surprise me one bit if we trip and fall face down in the muck at the next hurdle.
