We were in a pub down the square from the pub that got attacked last night. Two or three fans came in with blood streaming from their heads and they barricaded the place up. Barmaids cryig etc, was awful. We're okay though, and my hatred for the vile club has grown to a new height. Fascist cowardsthe lot of them. Fuck Lazio, i hope we smash them tonight.

We're just warning you against distorted info that is usually seeded onto the web in order to reinforce the image of "lazio fans = fascist scum"

Rest assured we are just as bloody upset as you are at what happened - no excuse.
But I feel more ashamed as Italian (and belonging to mankind) than as Lazio fan (given that proofs it was done by Lazio fans are progressively fading - still, I'm upset and ashamed)

Can we look ahead to the football. If Lazio disgrace themselves in the stadium, during the game...then, well...they can hardly excuse that.

I'm not disagreeing, but you seem to be ignoring the fact he was racially abused by 'the minority' of Lazio fans.

If you are all so scared of standing up to the 'minority' then you need find another way, lobbying UEFA, the Italian FA, FIFA whoever...
...otherwise you are condoning it.

I didn't see us having this debate with the fans of 'Maribor/Real Madrid/Twente/Panathanikos/Ruben Kazan/Hearts/Inter' and whoever else we've played in Europe in the last few years.

Sorry but he came across as really uncaring, without having to read the whole thread it's not hard to avail yourself of the fact some shit has gone down. It came across to me as "I don't care about anyone else, I'm fine."

I'm sure he meant no ill however.

I'm only saying that the part of the article in bold is not true (he never had to deny his Israeli origin):
Over his four years at club, Winter managed to win over many former enemies in the stands - but not before he denied his Israeli origins.

Maybe they shouldnt be on here at a time like this. Say sorry, then leave, instead of winding people up with their half truths about the state of the support.

Spurs fans were stabbed, and they come here saying its not Lazio or nothing to do with football. What do you expect?

If they dont agree that they are in denial about the Nazi scum running riot at their club, and the scale if it, then they are not welcome here imo.
