But I can't see any way these teams can play these fixtures plus domestic league, cups etc, so basically, they are gone. Interesting now to see if any player puts ambition over money

Well its not really many more fixtures that the CL. 10 group matches vs 6. If the national leagues back down, which I think is the most likely outcome (the solidarity payments offered surely go away if the clubs are expelled), not much really changes.
