Enjoy your last 12 hours of backing him. Imo I think he will be gone tomorrow. Top brass were there today.

I was on my way home from shopping and peeked into the pub window by the bus stop to see what the score was. Dismayed but not surprised that we were 3-0 down. When I saw the final result, I wasn't surprised that we pulled back a couple but not enough to get a point at least. Just makes our GD look good, but what's the point of scoring a couple if we let in one more??
I can't comment on the actual performance and I'm not going to put myself through the torture of even watching the 'highlights'.
We are in a seriously bad position, and those who can't or won't see it, need to pull their heads out of the sand.
We are now pinning our hopes of avoiding the drop on three teams being worse than us!

I have an old burner phone, Nokia i think, free to a good home dear.

🤔

Luckily there are five teams currently worse than us, four of which we need to play again. What’s not great is that only two of them are in worse form than us.
I said here a few weeks ago, the only team in the league I’d be confident of us getting a result against at the moment is rock bottom Southampton. Having watched them at Old Trafford the other night, wouldn’t even be confident of that anymore.

Just got back from the match. 8 hours driving in total. Overnight hotel. Awful curry. Was interesting seeing Goodison properly for one last time. They were celebrating a special retro day and it did look and sound good at times. What the fuck we were doing I don’t know. But we are an utter shambles on the pitch, off it too, and toxicity in the fanbase is growing as are the disagreements and aggro in the stands. It’s a total mess. No option available to us will do any good. At least the youngsters are battling hard and growing in experience. My worry is it’s coming with permanent scars and anxiety. Was it really worse than this in the 90s?

Doesn't fit the narrative that Injuries are the only reason we are shite though
How about playing two 18 years old constantly out of position, barring one a complete first choice defence out Injured . All our recognised 'pace' players out. Our no 1 striker out, no 2 striker only just bac from a long term problem and only good for 30 ISH mins plus a bench full of inexperienced 20 ISH year old and let's not forget a game every three ISH days that's hard on a fully fit squad .. let alone one that's visibly fatigued and lost Arguably all it's best/most reliable/ experienced players. What part of that doesn't fit your 'narrative' .. I was gonna say bollixs, but let's stick with 'narrative' makes your comment have a modicum of rationality.

Worse I ever saw it was under gerry francis away to liverpool when we lost 4 nil. That was the most toxic I ever saw it. Arguing n stands, fans singing bye bye gerry bye bye. Think francis resigned two days later. Was bad though and we had a big allocation.

No. Only once in our history have we been this bad in a PL season, and whilst it was in the 1990s, this is worse than the other years in that decade which says a lot.
