Unfortunately neither can he at the moment.
We're still paying the price of an unsettled team with our passing through midfield.
We haven’t put in a really good performance for quite a while now
Thought that was one of our poorest performances of the year. Really Richarlison bailed us out twice.
Everton played with more intensity, didn’t let us play football, and were probably the more ambitious side.
The midfield is a problem at present with Maddison and Bentancur still working themselves back to fitness. Having Sarr back is good but is Bissouma going to be fit to play when he’s back from AFCON?
Teams are also shithousing us now and I don’t think it can be denied that it’s an effective strategy. We’re a bit of a finesse side outside of Romero and Richarlison.
A point at Goodison isn’t the end of the world, but some concerning trends.

That's the simple hard truth right here and for a majority of our games we've played. We don't dominate the game enough, we're not cut throat enough when we're on top. Still very far from having that winning mentality we've been striving for!

But mainly...fucking ridiculous that YET AGAIN we don't boot the ball clear when leading 2-1 away from home with seconds remaining, but that's Angeball for you. And we called previous managers stubborn. Those 2 pts are on the big fella.

We are so far off at the moment. But it's early days.
It's fucking infuriating that we allow a team full of bang average mediocre footballers like Everton stay in the game instead of just putting our foot on their neck when we are on top.
The issue remains at this club, we don't have that killer mentality required to win trophies.
Tactics for a result against Spurs - hoof the ball into the box or hoof it over the top, and wait for the fuck up.
Agree first part. Subs are never good unless you get the result you seek. Bit of the benefit of hindsight in that regard
He was isolated a lot of the game and had two to get through, every time, with no overlapper.
But, yeah, overall, least impressive game of his start with us.

Every now and then he does a couple half-decent things and people forgive the utter poverty he brings, in general.
Dyce just moans at officials all game. Just card him. Way better than them. Tbh gil and skipp made us worse when they come on.
Yeah I get that we brought in Dragusin for decent money but I don’t quite understand this whole 88th minute sub into a back 3 since he’s come back. It seems to disrupt the assignments Romero and VdV understand all game long.
