Actually foaming at the mouth to see a Madders, Deki, Bentancur midfield on Friday. Hope that's what Ange goes with (provided Madders is fit).

Well if it is not mouthwatering, but you are foaming, I would check a doctor. Could be rabies :D .

But considering our options, we are light both on the forward-line and midfield fronts. With Son, Solomon, Veliz, GLC, Bissouma and Sarr all missing.

I can't see how we could use Deki as no 8, he has to start on RW. Alternative is play with 10 men and have Johnson who is currently not tracking back nor is he involved in attacking play nor is he a goal threat. He needs some time to sort his head up and could use some time on the bench.

I think with current limitations, we have to start with Werner, Richie and Kulu upfront; with midfield of Madders, PEH and Benta.
I am no fan of PEH but I think from current options I prefer to see him in midfield to seeing Johnson on the wing.

I think Madders will be on the bench and be brought on at 60'

You mean like Benta was eased in against Villa from the bench, even though no one knew he was even fit?
Or how VdV and Romero famously came in for last 30 minutes against ManU?

So that is also how it's gonna go with Madders; there were early rumors of him even considered against ManU, and he has had extra time to recover now.

He starts against ManCity, I'm pretty sure of this.

Well, to me it does not give any new information.

As I pointed out, Bentancur returning came totally out of the blue. And Romero for ManU was also anything but certain thing.

So I still have a belief Madders will start the game on Fri :) . And let's face it, with so many absentees, we do need him!

The only piece of new information is that his training includes medical reviews - I thought he was all but back 2 weeks ago.

Pretty much all Spurs fans will be hoping he's back - this suggests its not a 100% given. Unfortunately.
