Players like Werner and Johnson need to be played in behind. The few times they were they looked dangerous.
Destiny, Deki, Bentancur and Porro just did a horrible job on the ball. Dreadful passing and ignoring easy passes in favour of silly shit.

They were awful managers for Spurs and we rode our luck massively against City when they were in charge. And it was only recently against City that we drew 3-3 away. With our first choice midfield tonight and Son we would have done much better
The goal was a foul but Vicario was weak. Ref was allowing Diaz to bump goalie at every corner, that should have been stopped but Spurs do get hostile refereeing.
It stopped a replay coz Tottenham were messing around with it at the back in the whole match!! That's why the corner happened for the goal.
Why didn't Spurs have a minder to prevent Diaz on fouling the keeper all the time?
EVERY team in the EPL will foul Vicario at EVERY corner now, Tottenham have to protect him.

They were trying to foul Vic at corners all match. I'm amazed that someone didn't try to intervene.
Nothing shameful about losing in the dying minutes against the most financially doped up, cheating football club in the history of football.
Plus we were missing Sarr, Bissouma, Son and for 75 minutes of the game, Maddison.
We need to be more direct with our passing. I've been saying it all season. Lightning quick frontline but you have to play with more risk to play inbehind. Too many touches or the safe pass option
You're right it wasnt Richarlisons fault we're out but he isnt the sort of striker thats going to conjure up a bit of magic out of nowhere to win you the game and thats what we need if we want to be serious. Clearly its not going to be Kane level but we need to be looking for another Berbatov or Sheringham.
