A good gesture? Lolz! Yeah out him on for 10 mins tomoatronise the little club and let some part time postie break his ankle...not such a good gesture them is it? Patronising attitude of some supporters of top clubs is incredible ... Fucking stupid idea mate...we owe them nothing...they've earned a lot from virtual ticket sales so fair play to everyon who bought them but play a 2nd squad, beat them with no drama and no injuries. Again, we owe them NOTHING!

Likely. Probably a "Happy Birthday, you've been a good professional" sort of gift. In a game where we could play Enrique Iglesias and get a win.

Though Jose doesnt seem like the kind for that. Considering he couldn't give Vertonghen a run out in his last game.

I think people get stuck in 2 minds. They know that our top players need a rest.. but just love watching them play.. so they can't help but want to see them in the team sheet.

Just like a guilty pleasure really.. you know it's not always a good thing for you.. but you can't help but want it. Just my take on it.. 😅

Personally, I'm disappointed Ndombele even travelled.

In a game like this, against Melchester Rovers, I'd much rather have seen youngsters fill the bench.
 
If we do not win by 5 or more I’ll be upset. No reason we should even let up until we are up 5 or 6 goals. Even playing half speed we should score a few.

Like Jose said, the best respect we can give is to play hard and beat them. Not let up and take it easy on them or take pity.
