Some of the buys have been fantastic. Bentancur, Udogie, Bissouma and Maddison have been nabbed for peanuts (and I suspect Solomon on a free may end up being his genius move).

8/10 for me, I think he's done really well. We were 7th and in a crisis when he got here and after the first season we were 4th and before Conte walked out we were in 5th last season. His transfers have been pretty good as well.

I don't really hold that against him. He inherited a mess when it came to the managerial situation here. He tried to get Conte initially but when he said no we were already short of options. The reason he even went for those types of managers is probably because he assessed the squad and determined that we weren't ready for attacking football yet.

I think so. But selling deadwood is a lot harder than most people imagine. So you can’t really blame him for shit players who just refuse to leave because if he could I’m sure he’d give them away.
