If whoever we wanted was ready to sign, they'd be in the dug-out by now........

His transfers have been shiteHis transfers have been ok and has apparently done a lot with the youth system and other departments but he lacks a football style.
Whole point of a DoF is to bring a clear direction, he went from Gattuso to Nuno to apparently now Luis Enrique, wrong set of managers for us and also scatter gun.
Next DoF needs to have a clear progressive coherent identity so we can begin to resemble City, Woolwich and Brighton in how we build a team rather than Boehy Chelsea or Dildo West Ham.
Glad he came but also glad he is going.
Low bar.
I agree with this. His transfers have been ok and has apparently done a lot with the youth system and other departments but he lacks a football style.

Envelopes of cash.By the way, Juve had their points REINSTATED.
How does that even work?
Do one.
Or daughter.
I agree with this.
Regarding style and DoF's, unless they are ex-pros or ex-managers that are already acknowledged for a particular style then it is hard to attribute one to an individual DoF. It is imperative that one is committed to one and that everything they do is, therefore, aligned to ensure all departments support, develop and nurture the identity. So he has to enable this and we don't know if he is or isn't capable of doing this.
In the same vein, what identity does Monchi, Moratta, Campos even Paul Mitchell etc have???
Evidence may suggest that he isn't given the appointments and types of managers he was going after or did bring in. But equally, it's fair to say that things were a tad fucked at this time also, so perhaps there was a case of chasing a problem rather than getting ahead of it?????
But in any event, if he can't perform his duties at Tottenham then we really need to secure us one that can and trust that they are talented enough to take ownership of an identity and live and breathe it.
Those two statements aren't mutually exclusive
So is he going to step down ?
I guess this opens doors to Planes and Poch…
Paratici didn’t want Poch.Planes?
(If Poch was our guy and he was happy to take over before the end of the season; he'd already be here.)
Fair enough on not really knowing who doesn’t want Poch.Depending on what you read/choose to believe the board didn't want him.... Or you prefer the gospel according the TFC conspiracy tree; Levy won't re-hire Poch because it'd be embarrassing.
What it true? Dunno.
Huh?
I’d imagine most potential managers would like to know who the DOF was before they signed as manager - or at least the options and structure of the managementThis crap isn't holding up any managerial appointment.
