I don't think Paratici was ever the type who could share responsibilities. Probably a relief to Lange to see him gone. If you have a stats guy and a networks guy sharing a job, what happens when the stats guys want a player who isn't in the relationship guy's network?

If they believe Fabio was a requirement then they’ve identified a weakness in Lange’s game.

I think a total overhaul of the recruitment department is needed.
