So we back him all this time
Was supposedly involved in telling Johnson he could go , all while looking to go himself
What has he been doing for the first two weeks of this transfer window
Was he involved in this Brazilian left back , or has he already been doing stuff for fiorentina

Bar Conte his taste in managers was questionable and yes it would've been nice to have had a DOF who didn't have a criminal record.

But... He was at least somebody inside the club that had some sort of proximity to winning. He was part of putting together a winning dynasty at Juventus. For all of his flaws.. I did like that somebody of that ilk was in the club.

Who's leading the project now? Not a Paul Mitchell. Or a Luis Campos. Or a Txiki Begiristain. Or a Ralph Rangnick.

But Lange. IT's hard to be moved

Fuck this cunt. Arguably all of our failures in the 2020s stem from him being a degenerate cheating criminal who had to go away for two years, but not fully, leading us to this untenable morass of too much leadership and not enough decision-making.

While he did sort of have an eye for talent, it was mostly just having Juve connections that got us some of their former players.

I think he was a very poor steward of the club and left us worse off than when he found us.

Can't we get Gabiadinni back? He was responsible for the 23 Summer window, did some decent work

I think he wanted the DOF role or a senior role but the club denied him.

Pure speculation of kerse, but I think he's left because he's realised (to the fullest extent possible) that we are not a serious club trying to push the boundaries to achieve top honours. We're just perpetually stagnating like a hot wet fart under the covers.

Get us through this window, thats all

I really hate the whole "Franks got until the summer" line that people have on here, but more and more Im thinking theres something to it

Spend the next few months lining up a proper over haul of the exec/directors/dof and that so in the summer we are on (yet another) a new beginning/clean slate

A bigger picture might be.....

ENIC have looked at the league table.Much as we have been really average, relegation is still less than more likely.

Bring in 2 or 3 players who are willing to come in this window, to further reduce any threat, so if my theory is right, we should see 1 or possibly 2 more signings, 1 being a striker.

Leave Frank in situ but only if it doesn't get entirely toxic. Ticket sales and wider revenue won't dip too much.

Then sell up if a realistic and big enough bid (for ENIC), for the club is made, leaving whoever to do as they wish, which will nearly inevitably be to dismiss Frank, in line with what new owners see as their strategy and vision.

Lose on Saturday, and maybe ENIC turn to plan B, against their preferred option.

Just a possible take.

Yeah I guess he was behind VdV which is obviously a top signing, and Maddison too.

On the flip-side we also signed Johnson, Solomon, Vicario and Veliz that window, though.

Vicario, for all his flaws, was still a relative bargain at 16m quid, but we clearly missed a trick not shelling out another 15m for Raya, who would've sorted us at keeper for about 6-7 years and also homegrown.

Solomon was probably a Levy signing so I don't blame him for that one, but Johnson still strikes me as a bizarre signing and it's no coincidence Brentford were the other team in for him. And Veliz was a straight dud.

Think we can do better than Gabiadinni tbh. Apparently he was also a total hot-head and rubbed people up the wrong way.
