Long enough to know that just accepting the same shit won't get this fanbase anywhere.
Maybe you can mention it in the next protest. The board might actually take notice.
Just because they don't take any notice don't mean people should start just accepting their lack of ambition.
If everyone just accepted Frank constantly bringing up the 17th-place finish, or our illegitimate CL place, and saying "real fans" would be happy with the turd he serves up, he wouldn't be getting boo'd every week. Everyone would just take the Shady approach of "We're shit and going nowhere but that's ok because its the board's fault".
I mean, we are shit atm, and it is mostly the board's fault, but the fans need to stay deluded and let them know all the time that they are still expected to meet those delusions.
I think at some point we need so start aligning our expectations with reality mate.
If we're the 8th richest club in the world then we'd be:
Competing for the Champions League or at least getting to the quarters year on year, we aren't
Finishing top 4 or at least top 6 year on year, we aren't
Buying some of the best players in the world, we don't
Be able to attract the best managers in the world, we can't
Pay amongst the highest salaries in the world, we don't
So to think we can just pluck the best DOF's in football isn't aligning up to our current reality, it does however align up to delusion.

It doesn’t matter if you’re the 8th ‘richest’ club in the world — whatever that means ‘cos I’m still waiting for a working definition — if 5 of the richer clubs (or 3 and 2 equals or 4/1) — play in the same division.
It’ should be much easier to be the DoF one of the 20 most profitable clubs in Europe when the next most profitable clubs in your division don’t rank in the top 40 or 50. You’re not directly competing against any club above you. You don’t care who City or United buy only that you put together a better squad than Hearts.
Yeah it's a meaningless term used to weaponise and agenda, means fuck all if you're not pulling up trees on or off the pitch so expecting a top DOF is funny to me.

I think when posters bring up that were the ''8th'' richest club in the world, what they mean is we have enough revenue to be signing better players.

I wish I knew what your argument is, from the list you made on your previous post that I responded to it seems like you're arguing that THFC don't act like a club with that sort of wealth. Which is exactly what people have been saying all along when they complain about Levy and/or ENIC.
And when have I argued any different and what have I said in particular?
I thought you were arguing that other supporters bringing up the club being the 8th richest in the world, is meaningless and an agenda of some type.
That's fine but the reasons you listed to suggest meaningless and some sort of agenda are the points those people that you disagree with their argument are complaining about in the first place.
So you identify an agenda to argue against, though I'm unsure what that agenda is meant to be, and then you make a list of bullet points that totally supports what these people with this agenda that you say exists, have been complaining about.
So I don't have a clue what your point is?
