You need to go into your user preferences and tick an option to show them.
I imagine that means that vastly less people will use that forum, which is probably a feature more than a bug.
I've done that, but still not seeing the "politics" section. Where is it exactly and what threads are in it?

Thx admin...and since that was so quick figure I might try and slip in a renewed call for threadmarks...just sayin. In the Ange thread and am on page 1481 but the thread is at 1546...would like to quickly jump to the next 2 games to see how spirits changed...it's a guessing game in fast moving threads, otherwise.

Why not switch foul voting to just personal abuse or blatant trolling? That way it’s pretty black/white and less headache for you. It rules out opinion cliques to a large degree also.
remove off topic foul votes as nearly all threads veer off topic anyway. And posters generally remind each other when they do.
