Yeah he's just hoping what worked in the past will work again for him.

It fails to account for most of that form being new manager bounce and opposition having him figured out for 18 months now.

For sure but the first leg was definitely our best performance for quite some time so his confirmation bias will be strong. And to be honest I kind of agree - but then I'm an idiot who always thinks we look better when Bissouma is named only to realise 15 minutes in that Biss ain't the Biss I want him to be. 😭
