Match Fulham (A) 1st March, 2pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have to drop Xavi and replace him with physicality. We absolutely cannot afford to have him give the ball away as frequently as as he did yesterday. He is the worst player we could have for this predicament we find ourselves in. Small, weak, tries things in bad areas that don’t come off, no real pace and no real goal threat.

Bring him on with 20 mins to go if we have held Fulham at 0-0, sure, we can take a risk. Starting him though is a disaster.

It's pretty much nailed on that Solanke will try and play sicknote again. Sore throat last time, so I reckon maybe a splinter in his finger? Or maybe a tickly cough? Perhaps a chipped finger nail?

Assuming Porro and Kev are back...and Byfield ain't injured ( Football Chap Football Chap Spursidol Spursidol you know anything?)

Austin
Byfield Kev Micky
Porro Archie Pally Souza
Gallagher
Muani Richy

Subs: Kinsky, Rowswell, Olusesi, LWB, Tel, Wilson & other academy lads.

Fuck Vicario, Spence, Bissouma, Sarr, Xavi and Solanke...see how they like getting dropped.

We’ll see how big Tudor’s stones are. Does he have the cajones to drop some of the guys who are playing in pure fear and out a couple of kids in and give the side some energy and impetus?

Xavi was pretty much the only player in that entire team yesterday that had it in his locker to make something happen. His only outfield target 90% of the time was RKM who had 2 defenders on him the entire match. He had a shitter, but there are some mitigating factors.

I don't think the solution is to drop him, rather than get more players in the attacking half so that he's not consistently targetted and under pressure. If all you have to do to nullify us is to sit 1-2 players on top of Xavi and muscle him out, then it's an 'us' problem.

People saying drop Xavi?

Yeah fucking nice one. He’s the only one likely to make something happen and we don’t have Maddison or Kulusevski to bring in.

Let’s pray Danso and Porro are back.

Edit: I wouldn’t be against Byfield playing though

Byfield - Danso - Van de Ven
Porro - Biss - Gallagher - Souza
Xavi
Solanke - Muani

If we can get Danso fit then I'd love us to go 2 up top.

I think with Porro back it gives us better options. Surely Gray is a far better centre back than Palhinha? I'd definitely move Gray into the back 3 and just take out Palhinha.

Need to show balls and drop Vicario.

Bissouma playing for us again is an utter disgrace...gimme Pally or Archie over that mug any day.

Gallagher used as a sitting CM in a double pivot doesn't work. The man's main strength is his running and getting into the oppo box.

Do Xavi and Solanke really deserve to start? Honestly I'd rather play Gallagher in his natural position or give LWB a shot, with Richy in for Solanke.

Not sure we have many other options.

Hopefully after the March internationals we'll have Kudus, Bergvall, Porro, Udogie, Romero and Danso all fully fit and available.

Maddison hopefully back in training soon as well.

Madders is training I think.

Maybe April I’ve seen some people tout, but he’s going to be way off the pace until next season really.
